    NEET Instructions 2026 for Admit Card

    NTA provides NEET rules and regulations related to the admit card, exam day and other events. Check the NEET instructions 2026 related to the admit card, as mentioned below.

    • Candidates must download the NEET admit card 2026 beforehand and check that all the details mentioned on it are correct.

    • Candidates have to carry valid photo ID proof along with the admit card of NEET UG 2026 such as PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Driving Licence, or any other government-issued photo ID card.

    • It is mandatory to affix a postcard size photo for NEET admit card 2026.

    • As per the NEET instructions, candidates have to sign on the admit card in presence of invigilator only

    NEET Instructions for Dress Code

    Candidates have to follow the strict NEET dress code as per the guidelines provided by NTA. The authority provides the NEET instructions for both male and female dress code. Check the details about the NEET dress code below.

    NEET Dress Code for Male: Male candidates have to wear light-coloured clothes with half sleeves and pants. As per the NEET instructions, male candidates are not allowed to wear shirts with large buttons. Wear slippers or sandals. Shoes are not allowed.

    NEET 2026 Dress Code For Female: Female candidates also have to wear light-coloured half-sleeve t-shirts, pants and slippers. Any kind of kurtis, layered clothing, full sleeves, any kind of jewellery or accessories; heels, and others are not allowed as per the NEET instructions 2026.

    Customary Dress Code for NEET 2026: NTA has allowed the customary dress code at the NEET exam centre for the candidates following specific religions or cultures. However, candidates have to fill in the choice of customary dress code as per NTA NEET instructions. Candidates with a customary dress code for NEET need to reach early to allow proper frisking and security procedures well on time.

    NEET Instructions 2026: Items not allowed at exam centres

    As per the NEET exam day guidelines, there are specific items that are not allowed at the exam centre. Candidates must avoid carrying the items that are barred as per the NEET instructions 2026. Check the list of items not allowed on the NEET exam day 2026

    • Any item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil, Box, Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Pen, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Eraser, Calculator, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, etc.

    • Any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band, etc.

    • Other items like Wallet, Goggles, Handbags, Belt, Cap, etc.

    • Any Watch/Wristwatch, Bracelet, Camera, etc.

    • Any ornaments/metallic items.

    • Any food items opened or packed, water bottles, etc.

    • Any other item which could be used for unfair means, by hiding communication devices like a microchip, camera, Bluetooth device, etc.

    NEET Instructions 2026 for exam centre

    Candidates must reach the exam centre before the reporting time. Arriving too late on the NEET exam day can cost candidates their chance to appear in the exam. As biometrics and frisking is mandatory at NEET exam centre, candidates must follow all the NEET instructions 2026 by NTA to avoid any unnecessary hassle.     • Check your admit card for reporting time, gate closing time, and exam start time and read the exam centre rules before time, as biometric registration and frisking can take time, especially in large centres.

    After your entry, you must reach the seat as per your NEET roll number. Candidates must sit only at their allotted seat. Follow all the NEET instructions given by the invigilator carefully. Do not exchange your seat or any kind of material with other candidates. Candidates must raise their hand if they need any kind of assistance.
