Such candidates are eligible to apply for NEET 2026 on a provisional basis. However, they must pass the qualifying examination with the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and required marks before admission. Candidates will have to submit documents for evidentiary verification.

NEET 2026 qualifying exam code 2

Candidates who have completed 12 years of schooling under the Higher/Secondary Examination or the Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE), which is considered equivalent to the Class 10+2 level, are eligible to choose Code 02. The final two years of study must include English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Biotechnology, along with Mathematics or any other elective subject, in accordance with NCERT guidelines.

Candidates who have cleared a pre-professional or pre-medical examination after passing the Higher Secondary, Pre-University, or an equivalent examination need to choose NEET qualification code 4 in the application form.
