The term Re-NEET 2024 is trending again after the cancellation of NEET UG 2026. Many students are recalling the NEET 2024 paper leak controversy when thousands of candidates demanded a nationwide re-NEET exam. The issue became one of the biggest NEET controversies in recent years and even reached the Supreme Court of India. Now, after the NEET 2026 cancellation, students are comparing the current situation with Re-NEET 2024 and searching whether a similar process will happen again.
Re-NEET 2015 is trending because in 2015, the All India Pre-Medical Test 2015, also known as AIPMT 2015, was cancelled due to a paper leak controversy and later re-conducted across the country. The AIPMET 2015 exam date was the same as the 2026 one, May 3. The 2015 re NEET date was July 25, 2015. After the NEET UG 2026 cancellation, students are comparing the current situation with Re-NEET 2015 to understand what may happen next, how the re-exam process works and how previous cases were handled by authorities.
After the cancellation of the UG exam, students are now searching for the Re-NEET 2026 expected date. While NTA has yet to announce the official Re-NEET 2026 exam date, reports and past trends suggest that the re-exam could be held in June 2026.
Experts believe that the NTA may try to conduct Re-NEET 2026 as soon as possible to avoid delays in counselling, admissions and the academic sessions. In previous cases like Re-NEET 2015, the re-exam was conducted within a short period after the cancellation announcement. Students are advised to regularly check official NTA updates regarding the Re-NEET 2026 expected date, admit card release and revised schedule.
