Yes, NTA has announced that NEET 2026 will be conducted again on June 21, 2026 as per the official tweet. Many students were asking, “is re NEET 2026 possible” after multiple reports claimed that more than 100 questions from a circulated guess paper matched the actual NEET UG exam. While the investigation is ongoing, an official confirmation has been given by NTA regarding the cancellation and rescheduling of the examination.
The NTA, earlier in its press release of May 10, 2026 said that the matter is under investigation and students should avoid rumours. The current situation of NEET 2026 is similar to what happened during the NEET 2024 controversy. In 2024, many students protested and demanded a re NEET 2024 after allegations of paper leaks and exam irregularities surfaced. The matter even reached the Supreme Court of India.
However, after reviewing the investigation reports, the Supreme Court said there was no evidence of a large-scale nationwide paper leak and refused to order a complete re-NEET 2024 for all students. The re-NEET 2024 was conducted for only 1563 students.
The possibility of re NEET 2026 mainly depended on three important factors:
Investigation agencies have found evidence of a large-scale NEET 2026 paper leak
The alleged NEET 2026 paper leak affected exam fairness nationwide
The re NEET chances 2026 are confirmed because the investigation agencies have submitted a final report. Reports suggest that Rajasthan SOG and central agencies are examining the origin and circulation of the alleged question papers. Currently, there are three possible outcomes for the NEET 2026 chances.
The NEET exam leak news 2026 became a major topic after media reports claimed that investigation agencies found a “guess paper” with many questions similar to those asked in the actual NEET UG 2026 exam. Following these reports, Rajasthan Police reportedly conducted raids and detained several people linked to the alleged paper leak case. This created concern among lakhs of medical aspirants across the country.
According to media reports, more than 140 questions allegedly matched the actual NEET 2026 question paper. Investigations are currently going on in Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, and some other states. Agencies are also checking WhatsApp groups and tracking how the documents were circulated online. NTA has reportedly shared information with central agencies for further investigation. The issue has also become political, with opposition leaders demanding transparency in the examination process.

One of the most searched questions right now is “is NEET 2026 paper leaked or not”. The official confirmation for the NEET UG 2026 paper was leaked nationwide and has been confirmed by the NTA. The authority has acknowledged that some allegations and suspicious activities are being investigated.
Several reports mention that investigators found similarities between a circulated guess paper and the actual exam paper. However, investigators still need to determine whether the questions were leaked before the exam, whether students actually benefited from it, how many candidates were affected, and whether the leak was localised or widespread.
The NTA, in its official press release on May 10, 2026 stated that strict NEET UG 2026 security measures were implemented for the exam. These included AI-based CCTV surveillance, biometric verification, GPS tracking of question paper transportation, multi-layered security systems, and monitoring of suspicious online activities
NTA also stated that central agencies are examining the allegations and NTA is providing all necessary co-operation from their end. NTA has also advised students not to fall for rumours or fake claims regarding question paper leaks.
