The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducts the All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET 2024) for granting admission in MD/MS/PG Diploma in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy courses.
As per the latest update, the AIAPGET counselling 2024 dates are out. The round 1 registrations for AIAPGET 2024 counselling will start from September 10 to 16. The round 1 result will be released on September 19. Earlier, the AIAPGET result 2024 was declared on July 31. Candidates were able to download AIAPGET 2024 corecard by entering their application number, date of birth and security pin in the login window.
The authority released the AIAPGET 2024 final answer key at exams.nta.ac.in/AIAPGET. The AIAPGET 2024 provisional answer key was released on July 16. The AIAPGET 2024 admit card was issued on July 2. Candidates who fill out the application form of AIAPGET successfully on time were issued AIAPGET 2024 admit card. The AIAPGET exam was conducted in computer-based test mode on July 6. The AIAPGET 2024 exam was held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The authority released the AIAPGET 2024 city allotment slip on July 1. Registered candidates could check the exam city assigned to them through the allotment slip.
The authority closed AIAPGET correction window 2024 on May 19. The AIAPGET application form 2024 was closed by NTA on May 15. The authority extended the last date for internship completion till July 31. The AIAPGET application form was released along with the information brochure. The AIAPGET information bulletin mentions the details such as eligibility for the test, process, fees and more.
As per the AIAPGET 2024 exam pattern, 4 marks will be given for every correct answer, one mark will be deducted for every wrong answer and no marks will be given for any unanswered question. Soon after the exam, the authority releases the AIAPGET 2024 answer key along with the question paper. Candidates can challenge the answer key by paying the non-refundable fee of Rs. 200 per question.
On the basis of AIAPGET 2024, admission will be granted to MD/MS/PG Diploma Courses in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy courses offered in AYUSH Colleges, Institutions & Universities/ Deemed Universities in India. The AIAPGET result for 2024 will be announced online and will include the cutoff which must be secured to pass the entrance exam. The cut-off of AIAPGET is the minimum qualifying percentile that must be secured to pass the AYUSH PG entrance test.
On the basis of scores obtained by the candidate, the AIAPGET merit list 2024 is released, while separate merit lists are prepared for Ayurvedic, Homeopathy, Yoga, Unani and Siddha courses. AIAPGET 2024 counselling will be conducted by AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) for admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats. While the remaining state counseling authorities will conduct AIAPGET seat allotment for state quota seats. On the basis of, AIAPGET 2024, admission will be granted to around 2,274 seats in AYUSH postgraduate courses.

Only the registered candidates can download AIAPGET admit card 2024. Once the admit card is downloaded, it is advised to verify the details printed on it. How to download AIAPGET 2024 admit card?
It is important to carry the AIAPGET hall ticket 2024 along with a passport-size photograph and photo ID proof at the exam centres for verification purposes.
AIAPGET result 2024 will be announced in the form of a scorecard. Candidates can check AIAPGET result online by entering their roll number, date of birth and security pin. In order to qualify for the exam, it is mandatory to secure the AIAPGET cutoff percentile 2024. For the general category, the minimum qualifying percentile is 50th, while for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40th. AIAPGET result 2024, which will be valid for a particular session, mentions the name, roll number, total marks, subject-wise scores, All India Rank, category rank and cutoff marks.
In case of more vacant seats left under each category, the central government in consultation with CCIM may lower the AIAPGET cutoff percentile and marks for admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma courses in AYUSH.
Using the scores obtained in AIAPGET 2024, NTA will release a combined merit list and separate merit lists will also be prepared for Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Unani and Siddha. AIAPGET merit list 2024 will mention the rank of candidates and counselling details.
The cutoff of AIAPGET 2024 is the minimum percentile secured to qualify for the AYUSH PG entrance test. The regulatory body will release the AIAPGET 2024 cutoff scores with the result. AIAPGET cut-off 2024 varies for different categories. Candidates securing AIAPGET cutoff percentile and scores as per category will be considered qualified for admission procedure. AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) conducts the counselling of AIAPGET 2024 for admission to All India Quota seats. AIAPGET counselling 2024 will be conducted online on the basis of ranks secured in the entrance exam. The seat allotment of AIAPGET 2024 for AIQ seats will be organised in two rounds.
During the registration process for AIAPGET 2024 counselling, aspirants will be required to fill in their choices of colleges and courses in which they wish to get admission. Based on these preferences, All India Rank, seat availability, reservation criteria and other factors, admission to MD/MS/PG Diploma under AYUSH courses will be granted.
The counselling for remaining state quota seats under state/UTs/deemed/AYUSH colleges and other institutes will be done by respective counselling committees. The designated admission bodies will use the scores of AIAPGET 2024 to prepare state wise rank list for the allotment of seats.
A total of 120 questions were asked in the AIAPGET entrance exam containing 480 marks.
AIAPGET 2024 exam date is July 6.
As per the exam pattern of AIAPGET 2024, four marks were awarded for correct answer, while one mark was deducted for wrong attempt.
To fill AIAPGET 2024 application form, candidates need to complete five steps which include AIAPGET registration, filling of the application form, uploading of images, payment of application fees and printout of the confirmation page.
Candidates who fulfil the basic eligibility criteria as mentioned in the prospectus were able to appear for AIAPGET 2024.

Hello there,
If your NTA application is in the general category, you cannot directly apply under the BCM (Backward Class Muslim) quota in Tamil Nadu state counseling. The BCM quota is a reserved category specific to Tamil Nadu, and your application must reflect your eligibility for that quota.

Don't worry its a not a very big thing for which you will face consequences. It's a common mistake. If correction window will open try to change it otherwise still not any big problem.
