I am final year bsc biology group student. Am i eligible to fill the neet ug 2020 form?? if yes, which eligibility code should i choose?

Aditya kumar Student Expert 9th Dec, 2019
Hello dear

You are eligible for neet provided you have got at least 50 % aggregate in pcb in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category.

If you are eligible for neet with your pcb aggregate in class XII then you need to choose the code 05 while filling neet application form as code 05 is for those who are pursuing the three years degree course of a recognized University with any two of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology as mandatory subjects and have qualified the first year including practical tests in these subjects

Steps you need to follow for filling neet application form are listed below "-

  • Registration
  • Filling in the application of NEET 2020
  • Uploading of scanned images
  • NEET application fee payment
  • Printing of confirmation page.

Also you need to upload following documents for filling neet application form :-

can we do engineering and MBBS simultaneously? I mean what to do if we crack both jee and neet and are equally interested in both?

Aditya kumar Student Expert 9th Dec, 2019
Hello there !

  • I am extremely sorry to tell you but you cannot do both mbbs and engineering at the same , you may study both maths and Biology in 10+2 but after 10+2 , you will have to make a choice. Aso both mbbs and engineering are very different, they are poles apart and there is no provision which allows to do both mbbs and engineering at the same time. So ,even if you qualify both jee and neet  , you will have  to choose either engineering or mbbs.

  • If you are someone who loves knowing about how our body works and the different mechanism involved and want to treat people in getting rid of diseases then you should definitely go for mbbs but if you are not interested in it and loves new technologies and wants to develop instruments /Technologies of your own then you should go for engineering.

So take some time and then make a decision. Good luck
