Tie-breaking criteria of Jharkhand NEET merit list 2025
There have been cases of a tie between two or more candidates while deciding the state merit rank of candidates in the Jharkhand MBBS 2025 merit list. In such a situation below-mentioned tie-breaking criteria is applied:
Candidates securing higher marks in Biology are given first preference in the merit list of Jharkhand MBBS
Next, the candidate who secured the highest marks in Chemistry are preferred over other candidates in the Jharkhand NEET merit list 2025
If the tie persists then the candidate who secured less number of negative markings are given a higher rank
The final step to resolve the tie is to give preference to the candidate who is older in age.
Jharkhand NEET 2025 merit list - Cutoff
Since the authorities do not conduct a separate examination for Jharkhand MBBS admission, thus, the cutoff for the national-level entrance examination is taken into consideration. Candidates must note that the Jharkhand NEET cutoff is released after the admission process is completed. This cutoff is the last rank at which admission was granted in the state. Candidates should take this cutoff as an estimate of which seats will be allotted and not as confirmation.
