Mechanics, Electrodynamics, and Modern Physics carry the heaviest weight and need the most numerical practice, not just reading.

Chemistry splits into three moods. Physical Chemistry needs formula-based numerical practice, similar to Physics. Organic Chemistry needs pattern recognition, built through repetition of reaction types, not memorisation of every single reaction. Inorganic Chemistry is mostly memory-based, but it is also the fastest to score well in, if revised often.

Biology carries 50% of the exam, so it decides your final score more than any other subject. Human Physiology and Genetics are the two areas where students lose the most marks, because these chapters mix memory with logical, diagram-based understanding. NCERT lines matter here more than any other subject. Missing a small detail in NCERT often means missing the answer.

Month 1–2: Strengthen the Foundation

Focus on NCERT, chapter by chapter, across all three subjects. Do not skip Class 11 topics even if they feel easy. A major part of Biology and Physics weight comes directly from Class 11.

• Read one chapter at a time, then immediately solve basic questions from that chapter.

• Keep a short notebook of formulas as you go, not at the end.

• Take one small chapter-wise test every week, just to build the testing habit early.

Month 3–4: Cover the Full Syllabus

By the end of month four, your first read of the entire syllabus should be complete. This is also the point where motivation naturally dips, so build in small wins, like finishing a full unit or scoring better on a weekly test.

• Start solving NEET previous year question papers chapter by chapter, alongside your syllabus coverage.

• Introduce light online mock tests once a week, so screen-based testing becomes familiar early, not in the last month.

Month 5–6: First Complete Revision

Go through the entire syllabus again, but faster this time. This round should focus on weak chapters identified from your weekly tests.

• Increase mock test frequency to twice a week.

• Start using chapter-wise weightage data to decide where extra revision time is worth it.

• Begin timing yourself strictly on numerical-heavy sections in Physics and Physical Chemistry.

Month 7: Full-Length Practice Begins

This is where exam simulation starts properly.

• Take one full-length, three-hour mock test every week, on a screen, timed exactly like the real exam.

• Review every mistake from each test the same day, not days later.

• Focus revision time on the do-or-die chapters that carry the highest weight across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Month 8: Speed and Accuracy

By now, syllabus coverage should be close to complete. This month is about sharpening, not learning new things.

• Increase full-length mock tests to twice a week.

• Solve sample papers under strict timing to build speed.

• Track your accuracy percentage per subject, not just your total score.

Month 9: Final Revision

No new topics in this month. Only revision, testing, and rest.

• Revise short notes and formula sheets daily.

• Take a full-length mock test every two to three days.

• Reduce study hours slightly in the final week to avoid burnout, and prioritise sleep over extra revision hours.

Since NEET UG 2027 will be conducted in CBT mode, your preparation now needs a layer that older batches never needed. Sitting through three hours on paper and three hours on a screen are two different kinds of tiring. Build screen stamina slowly across the nine months, not only in the final weeks. Practise using the digital "mark for review" option, get used to solving rough work on a separate sheet instead of near the question, and check the on-screen timer at fixed points during every mock test. These small habits, repeated over months, remove one entire layer of exam-day stress.
