The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the NEET apply date 2026 on February 8 through a notification released at neet.nta.nic.in. As per the NTA’s notification, the NEET apply date 2026 is from February 8, 2026. Medical aspirants can apply online for NEET UG 2026 till March 8, 2026. Applicants are advised to apply early and avoid last minute registrations for NEET 2026 exam.

Candidates need to apply online for NEET 2026 exam. The step-by-step process to apply for NEET 2026 is as follows -
Step 1: Visit the Official Website
Go to neet.nta.nic.in
Click on the NEET UG 2026 Registration link.
Read the instructions and information bulletin carefully before proceeding.
Step 2: Register as a New Candidate
Click on “New Registration”.
Enter details such as the applicant's name, mobile number, email ID, date of birth, and security question.
After successful registration, an Application Number and login credentials via SMS/email will be sent.
Step 3: Complete Aadhaar-based eKYC Verification
Enter the Aadhaar Number for eKYC verification.
The basic details (name, DOB, gender) will be auto-filled from Aadhaar.
If there’s a mismatch, candidates need to upload a valid supporting certificate.
Step 4: Fill in the Application Form
Provide all necessary details such as
Personal information: Name, category, nationality, parent details.
Academic details: Class 10 & 12 passing year, school board, roll number.
Exam details: Medium of exam, exam city preferences (based on your present and permanent address).
Address details: Ensure both addresses are correct. As per the new NEET 2026 exam city selection rule, the system will use the current and permanent address to allot the exam city.
Step 5: Capture and Upload Required Images
Upload documents as per NTA’s new rules.
Live Photograph Capture: Must be taken in real-time using webcam/mobile camera.
Signature: On white paper with black ink pen.
Left-hand thumb impression.
Address Proof or Category Certificate (if applicable).
Step 6: Pay the Application Fee
Pay the NEET 2026 application form fees in online mode using any payment modes such as Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, or Paytm. The NEET 2026 registration fee varies by category (General / OBC / SC-ST / PwD / NRI).
Step 7: Submit and Download Confirmation Page
Review all details carefully before final submission. Once submitted, download the NEET 2026 confirmation page and the application form PDF. Also take a printout of the fee payment receipt and keep multiple copies for future reference.
