AIIMS PG CounsellingAIIMS PG Counselling 2018 - AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences), New Delhi, the conducting body of AIIMS PG exam, has released the seat allotment result of the third round of AIIMS PG 2018 July session counselling on June 26, 2018, in online mode. The third round of counselling was conducted from June 21 to June 23, 2018. This list does not include candidates who were allotted seat in the second round of counselling but did not choose any option by June 19, 2018 or after exercising option did not complete the admission process. The seat allotment list for round two was released on June 12, 2018.

Candidates who were allotted a seat in AIIMS PG counselling 2018 second round, were required to exercise one of the four available options on their online AIIMS PG seat allocation portal by 5:00 PM on June 19, 2018 (Tuesday), otherwise they were not eligible to participate in further rounds of counselling except final round of AIIMS PG Counselling, i.e. Open round. Candidates who didn't participate in the AIIMS PG 2018 counselling second round are not eligible to participate in the third round of the counselling of AIIMS PG 2018, however, they can participate in the AIIMS PG 2018 open counselling. Candidates who exercised Option 2 & 4 in the first round, and those who were eligible for the 2nd round of AIIMS PG counselling 2018 but haven't been allotted a seat will be able to participate in the AIIMS PG 2018 counselling round three. The link to login to 'MyPage' portal is given below, along with the procedure to register for the third counselling round of AIIMS PG 2018 will be made available below. AIIMS PG had earlier released the result of the round one of AIIMS PG 2018 counselling in online mode. The result had been released in the form of seat allotment list which indicated the AIIMS institute allotted to the candidates who have participated in the counselling of AIIMS PG 2018. Only those candidates who qualified the exam were eligible to participate in the AIIMS PG 2018 counselling 2018. The choice locking for AIIMS PG 2018 mock counselling round was available from May 17 (5:00 PM) to May 19 (5:00 PM), 2018. The announcement of the result of the seat allocation of AIIMS PG mock counselling round was declared on May 23, 2018. The counselling of AIIMS PG is being held in three rounds, first, second and third, scheduled from May 29, June 7, and June 21, 2018, respectively. A mock round preceded the first counselling round of AIIMS PG 2018, to familiarize candidates with the online AIIMS PG counselling portal and give them an idea of the institution they are likely to be allotted on the basis of choices and preferences made by them. AIIMS New Delhi conducted the choice locking for mock counselling round at 5:00 PM on May 17, 2018. The stepwise guidelines on how to participate in online counselling of AIIMS PG 2018 is given below. Only those candidates whose names have appeared in the merit list are eligible to participate in AIIMS PG 2018 counselling rounds. The seats which remain vacant after three rounds of AIIMS PG counselling will likely be filled through last, ie. open round of AIIMS PG counselling 2018. All the candidates who have qualified AIIMS PG 2018 by scoring equal to or more than the required 50th percentile will be eligible to participate in the AIIMS PG counselling 2018 Open Round.

This year AIIMS will take admissions to approximately 600 postgraduate seats through the process of AIIMS PG counselling 2018. The number of candidates called for first three rounds of AIIMS PG 2018 counselling are equal to the eight times the total number of seats available in six AIIMS institutions.

AIIMS PG Counselling Result 2018 - Round Three

The seat allotment list of AIIMS PG counselling 2018 round three has been released on June 26, 2018. The list is based on the merit list used for the second round of counselling. The candidates who are allotted a seat are required to accept or refuse the allotted seat before July 2, 2018 by 5.00 PM. The candidates are also required to report at the allotted institute with the mandatory documents before July 2, 2018. AIIMS PG Counselling 2018 - Round two Seat Allotment Result

AIIMS PG 2018 seat allotment result has been released for the second round of AIIMS PG counselling 2018 on June 12, 2018. Candidates who have been allotted a seat in the AIIMS PG 2018 2nd round of counselling, they are required to exercise an option from four available options by 5:00 PM on June 19, 2018. The options need to be exercised through Seat Allocation Portal link available on the AIIMS 'MyPage' portal of the candidates. Failure to exercise an option will result in forfeiture of the allotted seat and ineligibility from further rounds of AIIMS PG counselling, except open round. Candidates who didn't participate in AIIMS PG counselling 2018 second round, they will also not be allowed to participate in further counselling rounds, except open round. Candidates who participated in the AIIMS PG counselling 2018 second round can check the seat allotment result and other instructions as released by AIIMS New Delhi from the link given below. The AIIMS PG third counselling round will begin from June 21, 2018, and the seat allotment result will be released on June 26, 2018.

AIIMS PG 2018 - Round Two Information Brochure

The Information Brochure for round two of AIIMS PG 2018 counselling was released by AIIMS New Delhi along with the seat matrix on June 7, 2018. As per the update issued by AIIMS New Delhi for candidates interested in participating in AIIMS PG Counselling round 2, "Even if the candidate does not wish to change the choices or their order, he/she must login atleast once to record their willingness to participate in 2nd Round of counselling from 07.06.2018 (5:00 PM) to 09.06.2018 (5:00 PM) on the portal otherwise you will be treated ineligible for 2nd Round of seat allocation". Candidates who did not participate in round one of AIIMS PG 2018 counselling will be ineligible for round two.

AIIMS PG 2018 July Session Second Seat Matrix

AIIMS New Delhi has released the vacant seat position for round two counselling of AIIMS PG on June 7, 2018. The seat matrix reflects the seats available for the different MD/MS/MDS specializations across the various AIIMS campuses which candidates can participate for through the second AIIMS PG 2018 counselling round.

AIIMS PG 2018 - Online Counselling Procedure

Only those candidates who have been invited for first, second and third rounds of counselling of AIIMS PG 2018 through the rank and roll number-wise AIIMS PG 2018 merit lists are eligible to participate in online counselling of AIIMS PG 2018. Candidates can check the procedure to participate in the online process of AIIMS PG counselling 2018 from the steps given below.

  • STEP 1:  Registering for AIIMS PG Counselling 2018 - To participate in the online PG counselling of AIIMS PG 2018, eligible candidates will first have to register for the counselling process. To register, candidates whose names appear in the rank or roll-number wise merit list of AIIMS PG 2018, are required to Login to their 'MyPage' portal using their login credentials, i.e. Candidate ID and Password. The link to login to MyPage is given above. After logging in to 'MyPage', candidates can find the link of AIIMS PG 2018 Online counselling portal. On clicking the counselling link, candidates will be directed to the online counselling portal of AIIMS PG 2018. Now, candidates will need to register for AIIMS PG online counselling and set a new password. After registration for Online counselling of AIIMS PG is complete, candidates will be able to login to AIIMS PG counselling portal using the new password. The portal for Online AIIMS PG counselling will be available for a limited time as specified in important dates link in the portal.
  • STEP 2: Making Choice Preferences - Candidates can exercise their choices during the choice-locking windows made available for every round of AIIMS PG counselling 2018, i.e. from May 17 to 19 for Mock Round, May 24 to 25 for First Counselling Round, June 7 to 9 for Second Counselling Round and June 21 to 23 for Third Counselling Round. To register your choices, log in to the Online AIIMS PG 2018 counselling portal with the new password and click on 'Make Choices' button. Add your preferences by clicking on 'Add Choice' and then choose from the list of AIIMS institutions and subject-specialities. To remove a choice, click on 'Delete' button. Click on 'Save' button to save your choices and their order. To reorder the choices, click on up and down arrows or simply drag your choices. Candidates can add/delete/reorder choices as many times in a round until they 'Submit and Lock' their choices or the last date and time of the AIIMS PG counselling round is reached.
  • STEP 3: Submitting and Locking Choices - Once a candidate is satisfied with the choices made, they should click on 'Submit and Lock Choices' and tick the checkbox saying 'I accept the declaration'. Candidates will be prompted twice to confirm and reconsider their choices before they are locked for that round. In case a candidate isn't able to submit and lock the choices, then the last saved choices and their order will be automatically considered as submitted and locked after the last date and time of that AIIMS PG 2018 counselling round is reached. 
  • STEP 4: Viewing and Printing the Choices - Candidates will be able to view the choices submitted and locked by them by clicking on 'View Choices' button in the AIIMS PG 2018 Online Counselling and Seat Allotment Portal. Candidates are also advised to print the choices they finally submitted for future reference.

Seat Allotment Result of AIIMS PG Counselling 2018 

AIIMS PG 2018 seat allotment result has been released for the first round of AIIMS PG counselling 2018. The result will be declared after each round of counselling. Preceding the seat allotment result of first AIIMS PG counselling round, the result of the mock round was released on May 23, 2018. The seat allotment result of AIIMS PG 2018 second round of counselling will be released on June 12, 2018, while the seat allotment result of AIIMS PG third counselling round will be released on June 26, 2018.

What after AIIMS PG 2018 Seat Allotment?

After allotment of seats in all the three rounds of the counselling of AIIMS PG 2018, candidates will be presented with four options (detailed below). To choose an option, candidates will need to login to the Online counselling portal of AIIMS PG 2018, which can be accessed from 'MyPage' account from the link given above. Candidates who will be allotted a seat in first, second or third counselling round of AIIMS PG 2018, will be necessarily required to login and choose one of the options, failing which they will automatically forfeit the allotted seat and their right to participate in subsequent rounds of AIIMS PG online counselling (except for the open round). The last date to accept/reject a seat and choose an option after seat allotment is June 5, June 19 and July 2, for first, second and third AIIMS PG counselling round, respectively. 

  • OPTION 1: Choose this if you wish to 'ACCEPT THE ALLOTTED SEAT' and 'DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE' in the subsequent round of counselling. 
  • OPTION 2: Choose this if you wish to 'ACCEPT THE ALLOTTED SEAT' and 'WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SUBSEQUENT COUNSELLING ROUND'. 
  • OPTION 3: Choose this if you wish to 'DECLINE/REFUSE THE ALLOTTED SEAT' and 'DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN SUBSEQUENT COUNSELLING ROUND'.
  • OPTION 4: Choose this if you wish to 'DECLINE/REFUSE THE ALLOTTED SEAT' and 'WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SUBSEQUENT COUNSELLING ROUND'.

Candidates who have been allotted a seat and wish to take admission on that seat will be required to report at the allocated AIIMS institution with their original certificates and DD of INR 3 Lakhs. Candidates who are allotted a seat during online counselling of AIIMS PG 2018, but don't wish to take admission in that round and wish to participate in further counselling rounds while retaining their present seat will be required to deposit the fee along with original certificates and a DD of INR 3 lakhs at allotted AIIMS. A candidate who fails to deposit the fee and DD along with original certificates, will not be eligible to participate in further rounds of AIIMS PG 2018 counselling.

AIIMS PG 2018 Counselling Eligibility: Minimum Percentile Requirement

In order to qualify for the counselling of AIIMS PG 2018, candidates must have scored a minimum of 50th percentile in AIIMS PG entrance exam. Candidates can check the individual percentile scores scored by them by clicking on the link given below when it is released by AIIMS New Delhi on May 12, 2018. AIIMS will also release the list of all the candidates eligible for AIIMS PG 2018 counselling, before the beginning of open counselling round.

AIIMS PG counselling 2018 Highlights

  • AIIMS is conducting counselling of AIIMS PG July session in online mode. The open round will likely be conducted in offline mode only. 

  • Counselling of AIIMS PG 2018 July session will be conducted for 600 post-graduate seats available across all six AIIMS institutions.

  • The seat reservation criteria of AIIMS for various reserved categories (including SC, ST, OBC, OPH or Sponsored/Foreign) can be checked from AIIMS PG Cutoff 2018.

  • During the counselling of AIIMS PG 2018, candidates need to register their preference for AIIMS institution and postgraduate programmes. Also, after the counselling, they will need to report to the institution or counselling conducting authority (as applicable) with their original certificates like MBBS/BDS marksheet and degree, internship completion certificate, permanent medical registration details, caste category certificate (if applicable), etc. as a proof of their date of birth and category. Only after the verification of documents, candidates will be considered perfectly eligible for AIIMS PG 2018 admissions.

  • In case a candidate fails to report for any round of counselling (online) or doesn't take any action in them, s/he will not be eligible for subsequent counselling rounds including ‘Open’ rounds of counselling, in which all the candidates who have qualified AIIMS PG exam by scoring a minimum of 50th percentile, will be eligible to participate.

The result for AIIMS PG 2018 entrance exam was released on May 12, 2018, and the process of AIIMS PG 2018 counselling rounds has started in online mode.
