AIIMS PG Counselling 2019 – All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi, the regulatory body of AIIMS PG 2019 counselling, will start the process on December 6, 2018. The counselling for AIIMS PG 2019 will be conducted in online mode which implies candidates will be required to login to the same portal from where they have filled the AIIMS PG application form. AIIMS PG counselling 2019 will be conducted in three rounds- first, second and third round. An open round of AIIMS PG counselling 2019 will be held only if the seats remain vacant. The authorities will invite the candidates equivalent to eight times the number of seats available in the six participating institutes for AIIMS PG 2019 counselling. For the open round of counselling, all the candidates who have qualified the AIIMS PG entrance exam will be eligible to participate. A mock round of counselling will be held prior to the round one of counselling for AIIMS PG to familiarise the candidates with the counselling procedure. AIIMS PG aspirants can check in the articles the relevant details related to AIIMS PG counselling process like important dates, eligibility criteria, step-wise procedure, seat allotment, cutoffs etc.

AIIMS PG result 2019, released in the form of merit list, will be made available on November 23, 2018. Candidates included in the merit list will be eligible to participate in the AIIMS PG counselling 2019. Interested candidates will be required to register for AIIMS PG 2019 counselling and submit their preferences. The counselling for AIIMS PG 2019 will be conducted for approximately 449 seats available in five AIIMS- New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Raipur and Rishikesh.

AIIMS PG Counselling 2019 – Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who will qualify AIIMS PG 2019 will be considered eligible to participate in the counselling process. To qualify the AIIMS PG 2019 entrance exam, aspirants must secure the minimum required percentile which is 50th percentile for all categories. Note that merely qualifying the exam does not guarantee the invitation for AIIMS PG counselling. However, all the candidates who will qualify the exam will be called for the open round of counselling.

 

AIIMS PG Counselling 2019 – Step-wise Procedure

Step 1- Registration

In order to participate in AIIMS PG counselling 2019, eligible candidates will be asked to register the counselling process. Only those candidates whose name are included in the two merit lists of AIIMS PG will be eligible to participate in AIIMS PG 2019 counselling. These candidates are required to login to their ‘MyPage’ portal using their login credentials (Candidate ID and Password). The link to ‘MyPage’ will be made available as and when the counselling for AIIMS PG 2019 starts. After logging in the counselling link will be activated for those candidates who are eligible to participate. The link will redirect candidates to the online AIIMS PG counselling portal. Now, candidates will be asked to register for AIIMS PG online counselling and create a new password. After successful registration for counselling for AIIMS PG 2019 is complete, candidates will be able to login to AIIMS PG counselling portal using the newly created password.

Step 2- Making Choice Preferences

In this step, candidates will be required to exercise their choice preferences. To submit your choices, login to the online AIIMS PG 2019 counselling portal with the new password and click on ‘Make Choices’ tab. Now, add your preferences by clicking on the‘Add Choice’ button. Candidates can choose the list of institutes and subject-specialities. In order to remove a choice, candidates can click on ‘Delete’ button. To save a choice, click on the ‘Save’ button and the saved choices can be rearranged by simply dragging them. The choices can be added/deleted/reordered as many times as per the choice of candidates until they click on ‘Submit and Lock’ button.

Step 3- Submitting and Locking Choices

After saving the final choices, it is advisable to click on ‘Submit and Lock Choices’ to proceed with AIIMS PG counselling process. To lock the choices, candidates will be required to tick the checkbox which says ‘I accept the declaration’. There cannot be any changes made after locking the choices, therefore, candidates must ensure that the choices locked by them are final. If in case, candidates are unable to lock their choices for the counselling for AIIMS PG 2019, then the choices will be saved automatically after the counselling process is over.

Step 4- Viewing and Printing the Choices

The choices submitted by the candidates can be viewed by them by clicking on ‘View Choices’ button. It is advisable to take a printout of the choices locked in the AIIMS PG counselling process for future reference.

 

AIIMS PG Seat Allotment 2019

After the submission of choices, AIIMS New Delhi will be releasing the seat allotment list of each round. The seat allotment list will indicate the name of the candidates, Roll No., and the AIIMS Institute allotted to them. AIIMS PG 2019 seat allotment list will be only made available in online mode. Candidates who will be allotted a seat will be required to download the offer letter.

 

What after AIIMS PG Seat Allotment 2019?

After the conclusion of each round of AIIMS PG counselling 2019, candidates will be asked to choose one option out of four which are given below. In order to choose an option, candidates need to logging to the AIIMS PG 2019 counselling online portal which can be accessed from ‘My Page’ account from the link given above. Candidates who will be allotted a seat in any of the rounds of counselling to retain their seat or to give their consent of continuing in the AIIMS PG counselling process.

  • OPTION 1:Choose this if one wishes to 'ACCEPT THE ALLOTTED SEAT' and 'DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE' in the further rounds of counselling.

  • OPTION 2: Choose this to 'ACCEPT THE ALLOTTED SEAT' and 'WANT TO PARTICIPATE’ in the next round of AIIMS PG 2019 counselling.

  • OPTION 3:Choose this to 'DECLINE/REFUSE THE ALLOTTED SEAT' and 'DO NOT WISH TO PARTICIPATE’ in the subsequent round of AIIMS PG counselling 2019

  • OPTION 4:Choose this if you wish to 'DECLINE/REFUSE THE ALLOTTED SEAT' and 'WANT TO PARTICIPATE’ in the next round of counselling.

AIIMS PG Seat Allotment 2019 - Documents Required

After the seat is allocated, candidates need to report to the allotted AIIMS Institute with the original documents and a demand draft of INR 3,00,000. The demand draft should be in the name of Director, AIIMS, New Delhi. Candidates can check here the list of documents required at the time of reporting at the allotted Institute-

  • Offer Letter

  • Registration Slip

  • AIIMS PG Admit Card

  • MBBS/BDS Degree Certificate

  • Marksheets of MBBS/BDS First, Second and Third Professional Examinations

  • Internship Certificate stating that the internship was completed by January 30, 2019.

  • Provisional/Permanent Registration Certificate issued by MCI/State Medical Council or DCI/State Dental Council.

  • Class 10 certificate/Date of Birth certificate

  • Caste Certificate

  • PwD Certificate
