my aggregate of mbbs is 54.89 im not able to give aiims pg exam.. what should i do to improve my aggregate now in order to appear for aiims??

Shareef 23rd Jan, 2020

Hello,

If you belong to General/OBC Category, then you should score aggregate of 55% in MBBS. But if you belong to SC/ST Category, then it is only 50% that is required. If you completed your MBBS, then you cannot do anything about your aggregate now because you already completed the course. But if you are in the last year, you can try to improve the aggregate by scoring good marks in the final year subjects. Now it is too late and you can do nothing about it. Other than AIIMS PG, there is also NEET PG and PGIMER. You can try those. I know that AIIMS is a top institution but they do not offer any relaxations in qualifications.

which department of ophthalmic.

Ritisha Kothari 17th Jan, 2020

Hey!

Ophthalmology is a branch of medicine dealing with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases of the eye and visual system.

The eye, its surrounding structures and the visual system can be affected by a number of clinical conditions. Ophthalmology involves diagnosis and therapy of such conditions, along with microsurgery.

Various types of departments in Opthalmology are:

  • Anterior Segment Surgery. This subspecialty focuses on the anterior segment of the eye, which includes the cornea, iris, ciliary body, and lens.
  • Cataracts and Refractive Surgery.
  • Cornea and External Disease.
  • Glaucoma.
  • Neuro- Ophthalmology .
  • Ocular Oncology.
  • Oculoplastics and Orbit Surgery.
  • Ophthalmic Pathology.

According to your question, if you are asking that how to study opthalmology then: In order to become an ophthalmologist, students typically complete a bachelor's program, a 4-year Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) program and a 3-year ophthalmology residency in a hospital

Hope this helps!

shivangi mehta 13th Jan, 2020

Hello,

Individuals who are not under reservations for SC/ST/OBC and whose families have a gross annual income of less than 8 lakh are eligible to be recruited under the EWS quota. Different states has different validity for EWS certificate and generally it is valid for 1 year . In Gujarat, the validity is extended upto  3 years.

EWS is now applicable in most of the government jobs and educational courses. If your validity of certificate gets completed after march and you wants to take admission in EWS quota in MAY, You need to renew it.

my internship is over by march 2022 .. ll i can write aiims pg nov 2021 and continue my pg

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 13th Jan, 2020

Rajan. AIIMS conducts its PG exam for its admissions in 2 sessions i.e. January and July session. For being eligible for July session, you should have completed your Internship by December 31st of the same year. For example, if you want to appear for July 2022 session, you should be atleast completing your Internship by December 31st, 2022. Now if you want to appear for January session, you should have completed your Internship by January 31st of the same year of admission. So if you will complete your Internship by March 2022, you should appear for July 2022 session of AIIMS PG exam.

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 13th Jan, 2020

The most apt session would be July 2022 session for you. If you take up July session, its the closest one for you.
