To participate in NEET counselling, candidates must register at mcc.nic.in NEET UG 2025. Applicants must fill out their NEET roll number, registration number, name, mother's name, and date of birth. Next, pay the NEET counselling 2025 fee and security fee online with a credit card or debit card. The NEET counselling fees payable are.

Step 2: Choices filling for NEET counselling
Applicants must make a dummy sheet and enter their college and course (MBBS/BDS) choices. The NEET college predictor 2025 tool can help with chances based on past data. They should enter the choices NEET counselling 2025 process, they will be able to choose from this list of choices.
Step 3: NEET UG seat allotment
Candidates must log in and download NEET seat allotment letters as soon as they are released. A free exit is available in the first round, while a forfeiture exit is available in the second round.
Upon receiving an allotment of seats, a candidate must report to the designated college to complete the admissions processes. Reporting or joining during the first round is not mandatory. Those wishing to take a seat or upgrade must join and report. Seat allocation must be followed by reporting and joining in the second round unless candidates are willing to forfeit their security deposit by opting out. When reporting to the assigned college, candidates must present the originals of the specified documents.
NEET counselling 2025 - What is free exit? What is the exit with forfeiture?
Free Exit (only for round 1) - A candidate assigned a seat in round 1 who does not join/report to the college to which they have been assigned would not be penalised (the security deposit would not be forfeited). Candidates will be eligible for further rounds.
Exit with forfeiture - This means that candidates will not be eligible for a refund of the security deposit and fees paid. The conditions for forfeiture are:
If a candidate is offered a seat in round 2 and subsequent rounds but does not intend to take the seat, they can still exit with forfeiture (losing the security amount deposited) within the period given.
Candidates joining the allotted seat in the third round will not be eligible to resign/surrender their seats and will not be permitted to participate in further rounds.
Candidates who do not report for an allotted seat lose claim to the seat with forfeiture of fees and will not be allowed to participate in further rounds.
NEET Counselling Process & Cutoff Ranks for All Colleges: Previous year's
NEET 2025 Round 1 & Round 2 counselling
Round 1 and round 2 are a part of NEET UG 2025 counselling conducted by MCC for All India Quota seats and by state counselling authorities for state quota seats. In both rounds of NEET counselling, eligible candidates must register, fill in the choice of course and colleges and pay the fee. The seat allotment of round 1 and round 2 is also released separately. Aspirants who did not participate in round one NEET counselling 2025 or who did participate, however, do not wish to join the allotted college will be eligible to take part in round two.
NEET Counselling Round 1
Registration, payment of fee, choice filling followed by seat allotment. Candidates allotted seats in the round 1 NEET counselling can opt to take the seat, upgrade or exercise free exit to participate in NEET round 1 counselling 2025. Candidates who opt to take the seat/upgrade must upload their certificates and physically report to the allotted college.
Note: Candidates not allotted a seat can participate in NEET counselling round 2 directly without fresh registration.
NEET 2025 Counselling Round 2
Fresh registration must be done by candidates for the NEET 2nd round counselling who did not participate in round 1. Also, candidates who did not report in round 1 of NEET counselling 2025 need not register again. It is mandatory to exercise fresh choice filling in round 2 for all candidates who are participating in the same. After allotment, the following rules apply:
Candidates allotted a seat in round 2 can opt for willingness to upgrade from round 2 to round 3 of NEET counselling. In such a case they need to physically report at the allotted college.
Candidates who have got the upgraded seat will have to take relieving from round 1 and join round 2 seat. Such candidates will not have a claim on round 1 seats anymore.
In case a candidate has been allotted a seat in round 2 but does not report or join, will forfeit the security deposit
Candidates who are not allotted a seat in the round can participate in round 3 without fresh registration.
Candidates who don't want their round 2 seat can exit with forfeiture of security deposit
NEET Counselling Round 3
Candidates who are participating for the first time must fill fresh registration for NEET 2025 counselling. Registered candidates not allotted a seat in round 1 or 2 need not register again. Choice filling is to be done afresh. Candidates who have resigned or no reported in round 1 or 2 must register afresh with full fee payment. After allotment, rules that apply are
Candidates who are allotted a seat cannot resign from the seat or upgrade.
Candidates who have upgraded from round 2 must take the relieving from round 2 and complete joining formalities in round 3 NEET counselling. They cannot upgrade or resign from this seat. They also lose claim to the round 2 seat.
Candidates who do not join Round 3 seats can exit with forfeiture of fees and elimination. such candidates cannot participate in further rounds
Candidates who registered for the first time in the round and were not allotted a seat in round 3 can participate in the stray round.
Final Stray Round of NEET counselling 2025
Fresh registrations are done for this NEET counselling round. Data is shared between centres and states after round 3. Candidates mentioned in the allotted list of candidates in central or state NEET counselling are eliminated from the round. Candidates allotted seats in stray rounds have to join the allotted seat/college. Candidates who do not join the allotted seat shall be debarred from the NEET examination for one year along with forfeiture of fees.

Colleges under NEET AIQ counselling 2025
1) Delhi University (LHMC, UCMS, MAMC): - 85% institutional quota seats for Delhi candidates (who have passed their 10+2 from Delhi). 15% of seats are open to students from all over India.
2) Aligarh Muslim University (AMU):- 50% Institutional reservation for candidates who have studied for the past 3 years in AMU schools. The remaining 50% of seats are open for All India candidates.
3) BHU:- Open to All India candidates
4) Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia, Delhi: 47 seats are open to All India candidates. The rest 3 seats fall under the JMI internal quota and are open to students who have passed their 10+ 2 from Jamia Schools.
5) IPU University (VMMC & SJH): 15% seats for All India and 85% of seats for students who have passed their 10+2 from Delhi.
State Counselling for NEET UG 2025: For State Quota Seats
State authorities will fill 85% of the remaining seats in government medical colleges and 100% of the seats in private medical colleges. The NEET counselling varies from state to state. NEET counselling for the states leads to admission in MBBS in government colleges and admission to private medical colleges. There will be no reservation for OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD/EWS candidates in Deemed Universities. However, some deemed universities have reservations for the Jain Minority or Muslim Minority.
Resignation from 3rd round is not permitted. Candidates will also not be allowed to participate in any counselling (stray vacancy or state) after joining in round 3.
AIIMS
There will be four rounds of counselling (round 1, 2, 3 and stray round) for 20 AIIMS. NRI candidates can also apply for the AIIMS seats as there is an NRI quota.

ESIC
NEET-qualified candidates should have a Ward of Insured Persons certificate with a distinct number of available seats under this quota.

15% of seats come under All India counselling while the rest come under Delhi counselling and IPU counselling.
JMI - has a quota for Internal students who have passed their qualifying examination from Jamia Schools as regular students
