    While filling the neet.nta.nic.in application form 2026, candidates are required to authenticate their identity using Aadhar-based verification. The details entered in the NEET application form are automatically cross verified with the information available in the UIDAI database. If the Aadhaar verification is successful, candidates can proceed to fill the remaining NEET 2026 form.

    • Name mismatch: Candidates must ensure that the name entered in the NEET 2026 application form matches the name on their Aadhaar Card. Even a small spelling mistake can lead to issues in the further process.

    • Outdated Aadhaar photograph: As the authority has introduced a live photo capture rule, an outdated photo in the Aadhaar may not match with it, creating issues in filling the NEET application form 2026.

    • Incorrect date of birth: If the date of birth filled during registration does not match with the one mentioned in the Aadhaar card, it will again create problems during NEET 2026 form filling. Therefore, candidates must ensure that the date of birth matches in both aspects.

    • Wrong mobile number linked with Aadhaar: Candidates must ensure that the mobile number linked with Aadhaar is correct. While NEET 2026 Aadhaar eKYC, an OTP is sent to the mobile number. If the mobile number is incorrect, OTP will not be verified, not allowing candidates to fill the application form further.
