NTA has commenced the NEET 2026 application form process. The authority has introduced certain NEET 2026 new rules. Aadhaar eKYC is one of them. Aadhaar eKYC in NEET 2026 has been introduced for the following reasons:
Identity authentication: Aadhaar eKYC in the NEET application form 2026 verifies candidate’s name, date of birth, gender and photograph against UIDAI records so that only genuine candidates can apply.
Preventity fraud: With the NEET UG 2026 Aadhaar eKYC, impersonation and duplication applications can be avoided.
Smooth verification process: Correct Aadhaar details will help authorities at the document verification during NEET counselling.
While filling the neet.nta.nic.in application form 2026, candidates are required to authenticate their identity using Aadhar-based verification. The details entered in the NEET application form are automatically cross verified with the information available in the UIDAI database. If the Aadhaar verification is successful, candidates can proceed to fill the remaining NEET 2026 form.
However, if there is a mismatch in Aadhaar details and details filled in the application form due to outdated Aadhaar information, candidates first have to update their Aadhaar cards. In case, candidates opt for non-Aadhaar verification mode, they have to fill additional information. In such cases, they have to upload a duly signed and attested identity certificate along with a recent photograph to complete the application process.

Name mismatch: Candidates must ensure that the name entered in the NEET 2026 application form matches the name on their Aadhaar Card. Even a small spelling mistake can lead to issues in the further process.
Outdated Aadhaar photograph: As the authority has introduced a live photo capture rule, an outdated photo in the Aadhaar may not match with it, creating issues in filling the NEET application form 2026.
Incorrect date of birth: If the date of birth filled during registration does not match with the one mentioned in the Aadhaar card, it will again create problems during NEET 2026 form filling. Therefore, candidates must ensure that the date of birth matches in both aspects.
Wrong mobile number linked with Aadhaar: Candidates must ensure that the mobile number linked with Aadhaar is correct. While NEET 2026 Aadhaar eKYC, an OTP is sent to the mobile number. If the mobile number is incorrect, OTP will not be verified, not allowing candidates to fill the application form further.

The NEET qualifying cutoff for ST category was 143-113. For ST (PWD) , the cut off marks 2025 was 126-113. As you have not mentioned the closing rank for a particular college. Here, we have provided the college wise 2025 MBBS closing rank for ST category.
