The Aashaar eKYC has been introduced to reduce the cases of disguise, duplicate applications and identity fraud. While filling the neet.nta.nic.in application form 2026, candidates are required to authenticate their identity using Aadhar-based verification. The details entered in the NEET application form are automatically cross verified with the information available in the UIDAI database.
