Based on the NEET MBBS marks filled in the state admission form, the counselling authority will prepare the merit list of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019 for admission to 85% state quota seats. While, from all the government medical and dental colleges, 15% seats will be reserved for candidates shortlisted for All India Quota seats. The seat allotment process for AIQ seats will be done by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

It is important to check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019. The basic Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS 2019 admission criteria is mentioned below.
Candidates applying for MBBS and BDS admission in the state must be a citizen of India.
Students must have completed at least 17 years of age as on December 31, 2019
They need to have passed in all subjects of qualifying examination of Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as the main subjects.
General category aspirants must have passed Class 12 with 50% taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. While SC/ST/OBC and PH candidates must have obtained 40% and 45% respectively in their qualifying examination.
It is important for aspirants to be a permanent domicile of Tamil Nadu.
Candidates who have studied from Class 6 to 12 in the state will not be required to submit the domicile certificate, while aspirants who have completed Class 6 to Class 12 partly or completely outside the state need to provide the same.
NEET cutoff 2019 prescribed by NTA must be secured by candidates to fill the application form of Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019.

Step 1: Download Tamil Nadu MBBS admission form
DME, Tamil Nadu will make the application form of Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS 2019 available in the second week of June. The link to download the same will be provided on this page as soon as the authority will release it. The offline application form of TN MBBS 2019 can also be purchased from the government medical and dental colleges.
Step 2: Filling Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS 2019 application form
In this step, aspirants need to enter the application details by writing or encircling the codes. The following are the details which must be entered clearly in the long hand or in the coded form, as specified in the application form.
Personal details - Name of candidate, ID proof number, Parent’s name, Gender, Date of birth, Nationality and others
NEET details - Registration number, roll number, total and subject-wise marks scored
Academic details - State where Class 6 to 12 have completed, School board, name and address of school with state, year of passing, qualifying examination, subject-wise and total marks obtained and other asked information
Category details - Caste name, code,
Parent details - Occupation and income of parent/guardian
Domicile details - Native place details
Communication details - Mobile number, email ID, address with Pin code
A passport size photograph should also be affixed on the space provided
Signature of candidate and parent must be done on the designated space
Step 3: Payment of application fee
The application fee of Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS 2019 must be paid offline. The amount to be paid as the fees is mentioned in the table below. Candidates will be required to deposit the registration fees through Demand Draft drawn in favor of “The Secretary, Selection Committee, Kilpauk, Chennai - 600 010, payable at Chennai along with the filled in application form. It must be noted that the application fee to be paid is non-refundable.
Note: Candidates who have purchased the Tamil Nadu MBBS 2019 application form from the government medical and dental colleges need not submit the demand draft again.

Step 4: Final submission of Tamil Nadu MBBS admission form 2019
The application form must be submitted in offline mode only. Aspirants must send the filled in application form and demand draft along with the relevant documents to the address mentioned below. These documents must be sent in an envelope of 24 X 12 cm superscribed as “Application for MBBS/BDS Course - 2019-20 Session” on or before the last date. Aspirants need to submit only one application.
