DMER conducts counselling for Haryana NEET admissions for 85% state quota seats in government and government-aided colleges, whereas counselling for the remaining 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats is conducted by DGHS on behalf of MCC. Through Haryana MBBS BDS counselling 2026, admission to 1835 MBBS and 950 BDS seats is granted in the top MBBS colleges as well as BDS colleges in Haryana.

While appearing for Haryana medical counselling, candidates need the following documents.
Class 10 and 12 mark sheet
Equivalency certificate issued by the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, for candidates belonging tothe NRI Quota.
Birth certificate
Character certificate
Resident certificate (if applicable)
Aadhaar card

The authority conducts the first two rounds of Haryana MBBS/BDS 2026 counselling in online mode, followed by the mop-up round, which is conducted manually.
Candidates have to do fresh DMER Haryana online Haryana medical counselling registration for each round of counselling.
Depending upon the application received, DMER, Haryana publishes the merit list after each round of counselling.
The authority releases a category-wise merit list of Haryana MBBS admission 2026. Als,o a separate merit list is released for government-aided medical and dental colleges and private medical and dental colleges.
The candidates with their names in the merit list have to participate in the process of choice filling and the locking process.
The seat allotment is done based on the choices filled by the candidates, their NEET 2026 scores, seat availability and reservation.
The seat allotment for Haryana UG NEET counselling is published online and is accessible in PDF format.
Candidates who are allotted seats have to report to the colleges to confirm the seats.
Note: Candidates have to report to the allotted institute within the stipulated time. If the seats remain vacant in private colleges under the state quota after the two rounds of online Haryana MBBS counselling 2026, those seats are converted into management quota seats.
