All India Rank (AIR): The AIR rank is given to every candidate who appeared for the NEET exam on a national level which is based on the marks obtained in the exam.
State rank: The state rank in NEET 2025 is prepared by the individual state counselling authorities. It is prepared by considering factors such as domicile, category and state reservation policies.

The 15% seats in the NEET counselling are granted through MCC while the remaining 85% seats are granted through state counselling. To check the state rank in NEET UG 2025, candidates have to register for the state counselling process.
