is it really necessary to refer reference books for physics (NEET)? -may I know why ncert is not sufficient even though syllabus is based on ncert textbooks??

Prakarsh Kaushik 5th Apr, 2020

Hello,

No, NCERTs are not sufficient as they are good only for concept building. They don't have enough questions and examples to practise.

However, NCERT Chemistry is sufficient if you Mug up all the Intext Questions, Examples and Exercise Question. For Physics and Biology you need to refer to reference books as the key to cracking competitive exams like NEET is practising as many questions as you can.

Some of the reference books you can refer to are -

  1. IR Irodov - Physics
  2. HC Verma -  Physics
  3. Trueman's Objective Biology
  4. RC Mukherjee - Chemistry
  5. OP Tandon - Chemistry

Pankhuri Kumari 5th Apr, 2020
Hii Alok!
The decision depends on you. If you don't feel satisfied with the content and material you have for the preparation of NEET UG, you may refer to other books of your choice. Ultimately, it is only you, who knows your needs and preparation strategies. So, do as you feel right.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

how many marks should I score in NEET 2020 to get a seat in government BHMS collage??

Aditya kumar Student Expert 5th Apr, 2020

Hi

It's quite difficult to predict the marks required to get a seat in government medical college for BHMS.

This is because,

cut off marks for medical colleges for bhms and other courses keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like

number of students that appeared in the exam,

kind of marks obtained by them ,

toughness level of the examination,

your state of domicile etc

But as per previous year trends ,on an average you should try to get at least around 400- 450 marks to be on the safer side in your neet 2020 examination to get into BHMS

Good luck for your neet exam

Thankyou

which college is better NEET 2021,-2022 Aakash or cerrer

Rahul ke 5th Apr, 2020
Hello Aspirant, There is no coaching like cerrer for medical, its Allen Carrer Institute another one is Carrer Point Kota,so i am comparing these three Institute, First of Allen Carrer Institute is a good and big Institute, but its demerit is that as it a big Institute it has large no of Students, if you are a Topper student then its is best Institute for you but if you are mediocre or below mediocre student then they will not pay much attention on you, taking about Akash and Carrer point Both are good Institute but the recently some of the teachers of Carrer point left it and found a new Coaching called Achiever Carrer Institute with Ex HOD's of Allen Carrer Institute, Achiever is also a good and new coaching, it has factor that it has not much students so they pay attention on you.
Finally If you are a topper go to Allen
But if you are a Mediocre or below mediocre go to Achieve carrer Institute or Akash Institute.
