Karnataka MBBS Merit List 2019 – Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), Bangalore, will be tentatively releasing the Karnataka MBBS 2019 merit list in the last week of June. The merit list will bear the name of the students who will fill the Karnataka MBBS application form 2019 or have registered with CET. The merit list will also include other information like NEET Roll No.,NEET score, NEET rank, CET No.,gender, category, Kar/Non-Kar (whether the candidate is a domicile of Karnataka or not) and nationality. These candidates will be required to attend the document verification session that will be held subsequently. After the verification of documents, the state merit rank will be allotted to the candidates. The candidates who have got their documents verified will be included in the verified merit list of Karnataka MBBS 2019.

Candidates who will get their documents verified for CET will not be required to attend the session. The candidates will be able to download the verification slip from their student login ID. The session will be held at the helpline centres across various cities in the state of Karnataka. The candidates who have submitted the Karnataka MBBS application form 2019 will be allowed to participate in the document verification process considering they will be included in the provisional merit list. The karnataka MBBS 2019 merit list will be released along with the schedule for offline document verification. If the name of a candidate appears on the Karnataka MBBS merit list 2019, they are eligible to participate in the counselling sessions. The merit list of Karnataka MBBS 2019 will carry the information of candidate’s name, candidate’s rank, Karnataka state rank, category and NEET UG score.

It is essential for a candidate to secure a minimum required percentile in NEET 2019, fill the Karnataka MBBS application form 2019 and attend the document verification session in order to be included in the Karnataka MBBS 2019 merit list. All the candidates whose name appear on the Karnataka MBBS 2019 merit list will be included in the provisional merit list of Karnataka MBBS 2019.

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will be conducting the Karnataka MBBS 2019 admission process.
The provisional merit list of Karnataka MBBS BDS 2019 admissions will be published after the conclusion of document verification process. The list will be prepared according to the document verification schedule.
The list will be made available in online mode only.
For further reference, the candidates are recommended to print both the merit lists.
In case where the NEET 2019 score of two more candidates clash, a tie-breaker will be used to resolve it. In order to pick the best out of two candidates, the following criteria will be used to break the tie -
The candidate who has scored more marks in Biology will be preferred over the one with lesser marks.
If the tie still persists, then the candidate who has scored more marks in Chemistry will be considered over other candidates.
Candidates who has lesser number of wrong answers in NEET will be given preference over other candidates.
If the above three tie-breakers fail to resolve the tie, then the candidate who is older in age will be given preference.
If the name of a candidate appears on the Karnataka MBBS 2019 merit list, the candidates will be eligible to attend the counselling session of Karnataka MBBS 2019. The counselling session will start after the release of the provisional merit list for Karnataka MBBS admission 2019. The candidates who are eligible will be given a secret key which is to be utilised at the time of filling up options. It is recommended to the eligible candidates to attend the mock counselling session before locking the options.
Karnataka MBBS merit list 2019- Document verification
The document verification process is expected to begin in the third week of June. Before the commencement of each counselling session, KEA will conduct a document verification session. The candidates will be required to report to the allotted centres at the stipulated time and date as the document verification process will be held only in offline mode. As per the state merit rank, given in the provisional list, aspirants will be called to participate in the Karnataka MBBS 2019 document verification process.The following is the list of documents required for Karnataka MBBS 2019 admissions -
