Candidates filling the Karnataka MBBS 2025 application must fulfil the eligibility criteria given below. Candidates who do not fulfill the eligibility criteria, their application forms not be accepted by the authorities.
Nationality: Indian citizens can apply for Karnataka MBBS admission. NRI/OCI candidates can apply only for NRI quota seats in private colleges.
Domicile: Candidates of Karnataka domicile are eligible for government seats in Karnataka MBBS/BDS 2025 admission. Candidates not belonging to Karnataka can apply for open and other quota seats in private institutes in the state.
Academic eligibility: Medical aspirants who have passed 2nd PUC/ class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as main subjects will be able to fill the application form for the Karnataka MBBS.
Qualifying marks: Candidates belonging to the general category must score a minimum of 50% marks and those belonging to reserved category must secure 40% in the qualifying exam.
NEET 2025 cutoff: The authority accepts the Karnataka MBBS application form of NEET 2025 qualified candidates only. To qualify the NEET exam, students have to secure the minimum NEET cutoff released by NTA. NEET category-wise cutoff is given below for the candidate’s reference.
