Karnataka MBBS Application Form 2018 – Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) started the registration process for the mop-up round of counselling on July 27 and was conducted till July 30, 2018. Earlier, the Karnataka MBBS application form for the mop-up round was scheduled to be released on July 24, 2018. The last date to submit the application form of Karnataka MBBS 2018 is July 30 up to 10.00 AM. Karnataka MBBS 2018 application form for round two of counselling was released on July 16. The last date to apply online was July 18 up to 10.00 AM. Once the registration process is over candidates were required to submit fees for which the last date was July 18, 2018. Candidates who have already registered for the first round of counselling need not register for round two. The application form of Karnataka MBBS 2018 has been made available in online mode only. It is mandatory for candidates to fill Karnataka MBBS application form 2018 to be eligible for 85% State Quota seats of Karnataka state.

It must be noted that the candidates who have registered with KEA for Common Entrance Test (CET) 2018 are required to register for NEET 2018 with their CET admission ticket number. Such candidates need not attend the document verification session if they have a verification slip. These candidates can download the medical/dental verification slip from their student login. Only those candidates who are claiming reservation should attend the document verification session.

The candidates will be applying to approximately 5,617 seats in medical colleges and 2,181 seats in dental colleges by filling Karnataka MBBS application form 2018. The candidates who have secured minimum required percentile in NEET UG 2018 are eligible to fill the Karnataka MBBS application form 2018. How to fill Karnataka MBBS BDS Application Form 2018?

 

Step 1 - Registration

The candidates must login by clicking on the link below. Click on the ‘New User’ option and register by entering your correct email Id and mobile number. The candidates must note this email Id and mobile number will be used by the authorities for sending information if required. The candidates must fill all the details on the registration page as all the fields are mandatory. The candidates should fill Name, Date of Birth, Father’s name, Mother’s name. The candidates will receive an Application Number and User ID after successful registration for Karnataka MBBS 2018.

Step 2 – Academic Details

After successful registration, the candidates must login again with their User ID and fill their academic details like Class 12 marks, NEET score and NEET marks. The aspirants must click on save and next button after filling all the details otherwise the details will not be saved.

 

Step 3 – Photograph and Signature Upload

The candidates must upload the scanned images of their photograph, signature, parents’ signature and left thumb impression. Click on save and next button after uploading all the scanned images. After the submission of all these details, the candidates can click on the declaration form and submit all the details.

 

Step 4 – Application Fee Submission

The application fee is submitted via bank challan. The aspirants need to take a printout of the challan copy and make the payment at the respective bank. The candidates must have a copy of the bank challan and Karnataka MBBS 2018 application form for future reference

Documents Required for Verification

The document verification is conducted for those aspirants who have filled the application form of Karnataka MBBS 201 8.The session is conducted in offline mode which implies that the candidates will be required to be physically present.

  • Printout of Application Form

  • Bank Challan copy

  • NEET Admit Card

  • Class X pass certificate

  • 2nd PUC/Class XII mark sheet

  • Two recent passport size photograph

  • Study certificate attested by Block education Officer or Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI).

After the document verification session, a verification list is published. The list includes candidates whose documents are successfully verified. In this process, candidates will be able to attend mock counselling sessions which gives them an idea about Karnataka MBBS admission 2018.

Karnataka MBBS BDS Eligibility Criteria 2018

  • Education Qualification - The candidate must have passed 2nd PUC/Class XII/equivalent exam with English as one of the subjects. The minimum marks required in the qualifying exam is 50% in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. For SC/ST candidates of Karnataka origin, the minimum required percentage is 40%.

  • Minimum Required Percentile - The candidate must qualify NEET 2018 exam with minimum required percentile to fill Karnataka MBBS application form 2018 which is 50th percentile for candidate belonging to general category, 40th percentile for SC/ST candidates and 45th percentile for Ur PwD candidates.

  • Age criteria - The candidate must complete 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the given academic year for which the admission is being conducted. The aspirant should not be more than 25 years of age on May 7, 2018, which implies must be born after May 7, 1993.

  • Domicile Eligibility - The candidate should belong to one of these categories to fill Karnataka MBBS 2018 application form-

  1. The candidate should have studied for a minimum of seven years in a Government recognized institute located in the state of Karnataka, or

  2. The candidate should have passed 1st and 2nd year PUC/Class XI and XII/ from a Government recognized institute located in Karnataka State and either of the candidate’s parents should have studied for a minimum of seven years from Karnataka, or

  3. The candidate who has passed the qualifying examination from an institute located outside Karnataka can be eligible for Karnataka MBBS 2018 admission if either of his/her parent’s is a domicile of Karnataka state. In this case, the mother tongue of the candidate or either of the parent’s mother tongue should be Kannada, Tulu or Kodava and the candidate has to give a Kannada language test.
