The applicants must fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for admission to these colleges or universities. The eligibility criteria may differ slightly from college to college. It is recommended to check the details carefully before applying for admission. Here are the common eligibility criteria followed by most of the institutes offering MBBS in India.
Age Limit - While applying for admission in MBBS, the student must be at least 17 years old. The upper age limit for MBBS is 25 years. For the reserved categories (SC, ST, DA, and PWD), the upper limit is increased to 30 years.
Qualification - The applicant must have completed his or her 10+2 from a recognized educational board. They may belong from CBSE, ICSE, or any other state board.
Percentage - The minimum percentage that must be acquired by candidates in his or her class 12th is 40%. The minimum percentage is further decreased for reserved categories (SC, ST, PWD, and DA). The students must have scored at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For admission in some MBBS colleges, English is a mandatory subject.
Subjects - The student must belong to a science background. He or she must have studied PCB i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in class 12th.

Even for direct admission in the MBBS course, students must appear in the NEET entrance exam. It is mandatory for admission. The competition is extremely tough for admission to MBBS. State Quota Seats: If you are domicile of any state, you can check the cut-off for government and private dental college specific to that state. The cutoff scores for State Quota seats are generally low compared to All India Quota.

Mainly it's depends on paper difficulty and number of candidates appeared for NEET exam which is more than 23 lakh. if you belong to sc category it might be easier to you .As you can see this year tremendous jump of Cut off from 620 to 655 for general category And even some General category students can't get government College seat at this score.
If the same scenario happens next year, the safe score would be 560 plus for sc category.
So ,to the conclusion, for sc category, the safe mark would be between 560 to 660.

Yes, you can get a seat depending on the cut-off mark but in non clinical post at this rank.if you are satisfied with this go ahead or you can do is try next year and achieve good rank for clinical.
Keep trying till the last round and you'll definitely make it. Make sure you enter the right colleges during option entry with the priority according to their cut-off rank and availability of seats.
