It is recommended to check the details carefully before applying for admission. Here are the common eligibility criteria followed by most of the institutes offering MBBS in India.
Age Limit - While applying for admission in MBBS, the student must be at least 17 years old. The upper age limit for MBBS is 25 years. For the reserved categories (SC, ST, DA, and PWD), the upper limit is increased to 30 years.
Qualification - The applicant must have completed his or her 10+2 from a recognized educational board. They may belong from CBSE, ICSE, or any other state board.
Percentage - The minimum percentage that must be acquired by candidates in his or her class 12th is 40%. The minimum percentage is further decreased for reserved categories (SC, ST, PWD, and DA). The students must have scored at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For admission in some MBBS colleges, English is a mandatory subject.
Subjects - The student must belong to a science background. He or she must have studied PCB i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in class 12th.

Even for direct admission in the MBBS course, students must appear in the NEET entrance exam. It is mandatory for admission. The competition is extremely tough for admission to MBBS. Eligibility for pursuing bsc in biotechnology You must have passed our class xii from science stream with minimum 50% marks aggregate and must have physics, chemistry and biology or maths as core subjects with 60% marks in each core subject
. For sc/ st it is 45 %
Both pcb and pcm candidates can apply for bsc biotechnology . Universities conduct their own followed by personal interview.
Duration of the Course is 3 years .

Hello there,
If you are planning to appear for NEET in 2025, and continue you education after 2 years of passing, it wouldn't be possible. Your application, score and rank of the 2025 exam will not be counted after a year or two. In this case, you have to re-appear for the NEET Exam in 2027.
