    Eligibility Criteria for admission without entrance exam in MBBS colleges in Bangalore

    For admission to MBBS, the NEET entrance exam is mandatory. You cannot take admission to any medical college without a NEET score. The applicants must fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for admission to these colleges or universities. The eligibility criteria may differ slightly from college to college.     • Age Limit - While applying for admission in MBBS, the student must be at least 17 years old. The upper age limit for MBBS is 25 years. For the reserved categories (SC, ST, DA, and PWD), the upper limit is increased to 30 years.

    • Qualification - The applicant must have completed his or her 10+2 from a recognized educational board. They may belong from CBSE, ICSE, or any other state board.

    • Percentage - The minimum percentage that must be acquired by candidates in his or her class 12th is 40%. The minimum percentage is further decreased for reserved categories (SC, ST, PWD, and DA). The students must have scored at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. For admission in some MBBS colleges, English is a mandatory subject.

    • Subjects - The student must belong to a science background. He or she must have studied PCB i.e., Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in class 12th.
