Bihar MBBS eligibility criteria 2026

Candidates who wish to apply for Bihar state admission for NEET UG 2026 must read the following eligibility criteria set by the authority, which are mentioned below.

• Candidates must be citizens of India

• For Bihar MBBS/BDS admission, candidates should fill out the application form to register themselves.

• Candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2026.

• Candidates who belong to the following domicile categories are eligible for Bihar MBBS admission process:

1. One whose parent(s) is a permanent resident of India.

2. Candidates whose parents (s) are refugees in the Bihar state.

3. Candidates whose one of the parents is not a permanent resident of the state but is working for the Government of Bihar.

4. The parents of students who are in a transferable job in Bihar and Jharkhand.

5. The candidate's parents should be working in the Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) of the Government of India.

6. Candidates whose parent/s are working with the United Nations and are recruited in Bihar.

• General category candidates must have passed the class 12 qualifying examination with 50% taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English. On the other hand, SC/ST/OBC candidates must have scored 40% in the qualifying or equivalent exams.

• The candidate should also be medically fit.

• NEET cutoff is the minimum qualifying percentile that must be secured to be qualified for admission.

The Bihar NEET 2026 application form is released by BCECEB in online mode. Only eligible candidates can apply for the Bihar MBBS admission 2026. During the online Bihar MBBS registration, candidates are required to register themselves by entering their email ID and mobile number. The UGMAC registration ID is sent to the registered number and email ID to log in for fill out the application form. Candidates are required to pay the fee through offline mode using E-challan or online mode using credit/debit cards or net banking.

Thereafter, personal, academic, NEET 2026 details, communication, and other basic details are filled in by the candidates. After the application form is completely filled out, candidates must take a printout of the filled-in admission form, which is later submitted at the time of the counselling and admission process.

• Passing certificate/mark sheet/admit card of class 10 or equivalent exam
