NEET counselling round 2 seat matrix: Included seats

Where round 1 allocates fresh seats based on the initial matrix, the round 2 seat matrix of NEET counselling focuses on reallocating remaining seats. The NEET counselling round 2 seat matrix includes the following seats:

    • Clear vacancies: This includes the seats left unfilled from NEET counselling round 1 due to non-reporting, resignations, or disqualifications of the students.

    • Virtual vacancies: These are the seats held by candidates from round 1 who opt for upgrades. These seats in round 2 become available if the candidate moves to a better option.

    • Newly added seats: Many times, NMC approves additional seats due to the addition of new colleges and seats with additional permission. If these additional seats are added after the round 1 NEET counselling, they are included under the round 2 NEET seat matrix.
