The OMR sheet for NEET practice helps students avoid common mistakes on exam day. To get used to marking answers accurately and quickly, practice with sample OMR sheets available online or from any other sources. Below are some steps that candidates can follow to practice with the NEET OMR sheet sample -
Fill in the personal details - Carefully write the name of the student, roll number, exam centre code, and other required personal details on the top of the OMR sheet exactly as mentioned in the NEET admit card.
Answer the questions - Try to attempt a NEET mock test by marking the answers in the sample NEET OMR sheet. Carefully mark the answers by filling in the circle corresponding to your chosen option (A, B, C, or D).
Fill the circles properly - Try practising filling the circles in the NEET sample OMR sheet so that no answer is marked improperly during the examination day.
Always use a blue or black ballpoint pen to fill in details and mark the circles in the NEET OMR sheet 2025. Pencils or any other ink colour may not be read correctly by the OMR scanner and can cause trouble.
If there has been any mistake made by the candidates, do not overwrite or use correction fluid. This can cause your answer to be invalid. To avoid this, students should practice more and more using the sample NEET OMR sheet.
Make sure that the answers marked are filled and should be dark and clean. Light or incomplete marks might not be detected properly.
Avoid scribbling on the OMR sheet. Make sure no extra marks or stains are visible on the sheet.
Students while practising from the sample OMR sheet for NEET should try to avoid some common mistakes. By doing so, the chances of any error in the actual exam day are low. Some of the common mistakes that should be avoided are as follows -
Do not mark more than one answer for a question as it can lead to disqualification of that particular response.
Using a pencil or coloured pens (other than blue or black) can result in unrecognised responses and the software used for the evaluation purpose might not consider it as a marked answer leading to a low score.
Students should practise filling the OMR sheet without leaving any extra marks, stains, or smudges outside the designated circles as it can lead to an invalid answer.
