Tripura MBBS Application Form 2018 – The conducting body, Directorate of Medical Education, Tripura started the registration and Tripura MBBS 2018 application form filling process on June 25, 2018. Candidates whose names have appeared in the merit list of Tripura declared earlier, could fill the application form of Tripura MBBS BDS 2018 in online mode until June 28, 2018. The first round of counselling for Tripura MBBS started on June 29, 2018, till July 2, 2018. The seat allotment list after the first round of counselling has been published on July 4, 2018.
It is important to note that, candidates who have not registered for Tripura MBBS counselling 2018 now, will not be eligible to participate in second and subsequent rounds of counselling, unless in exceptional circumstances. Candidates through the application form of Tripura MBBS 2018 would be applying to a total of 166 medical and 10 dental seats. Candidates who have secured the minimum required percentile in the NEET UG examination and fulfilling the state eligibility criteria have been included in the Tripura MBBS merit list declared on June 21, 2018. Admissions will be granted to the candidates on the basis of the NEET UG scores only.

Tripura MBBS BDS 2018 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying to Tripura MBBS BDS 2018 must be Indian citizens.
The candidates must be at least 17 years of age as on December 31, 2018.
Candidates filling up the Tripura MBBS BDS application form 2018 must be permanent residents of the state. Either candidates or their parents must have resided for a period of at least 10 years prior to the date of release of application form for NEET 2018 UG examination.
Candidates who are children of either All India service officers borne in Tripura cadre or employees of Tripura state government posted outside the state will be eligible irrespective of their prior stay period.
Candidates who are appearing in their class 12 examination from any institution in Tripura and are not permanent residents of Tripura but are children of officer(s) on deputation to the Government of Tripura or Central Government officer(s) serving in the state government for a continuous period of three years are also eligible to apply for admission to Tripura MBBS 2018.
Candidates appearing for their Class 12 from any institution under Tripura Government who are not permanent residents but are children of ex-servicemen/defence personnel staying in Tripura for at least five years prior to the date of release of NEET UG application form.
Candidates must have passed Class 12 with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English from a board recognized by the Central/State government.
Candidates must have passed in each of the mentioned individual subjects securing a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (for unreserved category), 45% (for Physically Handicapped (PH), unreserved) and 40% (for the reserved category including PH reserved) in them in order to fill up the Tripura MBBS BDS 2018 application form.
Candidates must have secured the required minimum percentile in the NEET 2018 UG examination.

How to fill Tripura MBBS BDS Application Form 2018?
Step 1 – Registration
The Tripura MBBS BDS 2018 application form has been released online. Candidates need to click the link of the official website of Tripura MBBS 2018 counselling given above to fill in the application form. The personal details such as name, mobile number, date of birth will have to be submitted during the registration process.
Step 2 – Academic Details Submission
Candidates in this step of filling up the application form of Tripura MBBS 2018 need to provide their academic details like Class 12 marks, NEET score, and NEET rank. The candidates are required to enter correct details as these will be verified during the later stages such as preparation of the Tripura MBBS BDS merit list 2018. Candidates after filling all the important details should download a copy of the application form by clicking on the ‘download’ button.
Step 3 – Payment of Application Fee
Candidates are required to pay the application fee via a demand draft of State Bank of India (S.B.I) in favour of Director of Medical Education, Government of Tripura payable at Agartala, as a final step towards the submission of application fee. All the eligible candidates who have completed the process of Tripura MBBS BDS 2018 application form fill up are able to participate in the online counselling/choice filling process. The candidates will be granted admission to Tripura MBBS BDS 2018 based on their NEET 2018 scores.
