Uttarakhand MBBS Application Form 2019 - Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) will release the registration cum application form of Uttarakhand MBBS 2019 for round I of online counselling around 4th week of June. Uttarakhand MBBS 2019 application forms will open in online mode only and are invited for filling state and management quota MBBS/BDS seats in medical and dental colleges in the state. Admission to state quota seats will be conducted first through two online counselling rounds and then a mop-up round; a second mop-up round will also be held, but only for BDS seats. Registration for Uttarakhand MBBS 2019 admission will be conducted separately for each round, with candidate having to fill the application form for the round they are participating in. For example, if a candidate skips round I, they can still participate in round II by paying the application fee and filling the form.

To be eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS courses the candidate needs to score the minimum prescribed marks in NEET in their respective categories. The admission process, meanwhile, will be conducted based on the state merit list prepared based on NEET 2019 scores.

Uttarakhand MBBS Application Form 2019 - Key Points

The application form of Uttarakhand MBBS 2019 will be released separately for each of the counselling rounds, including mop-up round. So, depending on the round the candidate is participating in, the corresponding application has to be filled. Uttarakhand MBBS 2019 application form for Round I of counselling will open tentatively in the 4th week of June. Registrations for all the rounds will be available in online mode.

Also, while a candidate who wishes to participate in all the counselling rounds has to fill the application form separately each time, the application fee has to be paid only once. In case of candidates who skips Round I of counselling, but wishes to participate in Round I or mop-up round, they can fill the application form by paying the application fee.

Please note Uttarakhand MBBS 2019 counselling for Round I and II will be conducted in online mode, followed by mop-up round which will be conducted in manual mode. Spot admission will be offered during mop-up round. 

Steps to fill Uttarakhand MBBS/BDS 2019 application form

Step 1 - Registration

To start the registration process of Uttarakhand MBBS 2019 admission, the candidate will have to enter following details:

  • Mobile number

  • NEET 2019 roll number

  • NEET 2019 application number

  • Security code displayed on screen

After entering the details, the candidate has to click on the Submit button. An OTP will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidate; enter the OTP to get the mobile number verified.

Once the verification process is over, the candidate will be redirected to the login home page.

Step 2 - Update data and upload documents

The candidate has to next login to the newly registered account using NEET Roll number (the default user ID), password and captcha to access the Uttarakhand MBBS 2019 application form. The password is the verification code sent on the registered mobile number. 

The application form will have various sections like personal, contact, qualifying exam, etc. details, all of which have to be duly filled.

In this section the candidate will have to enter domicile, category, sub-category, whether he/she is a ward of Kashmiri migrant.

Step 3 - Payment of application fee

The Uttarakhand MBBS 2019 application form fee has to be paid in online mode only using net banking, credit or debit cards. Also depending on the counselling round the fee will vary, as shown in the table below.

Upon successful payment of the application fee, a receipt for confirmation will be generated. The candidate needs to download and take a printout of the receipt. 

Step 4 - Filling of choices

This is the penultimate step of Uttarakhand MBBS 2019 application form filling process. The seat allotment of Uttarakhand MBBS 2019 will be based on both the state merit of the candidate and also choices entered. So, one should do due diligence when making choice entry.

Upon submission of choices, the application process is over and registration confirmation page will be generated. 

Step 5 - Print registration page

Download and take a printout of the confirmation page as it might be required for future reference.

  1. Is NEET 2019 eligibility a prerequisite for filling Uttarakhand MBBS application form?

Ans: Considering admission will be based on NEET scores only, unless the candidate has qualified NEET 2019, he/she will not be considered for admission.

  1. Can a candidate fill the application cum registration form in Round II, if they didn't participate in Round I?

Ans: Yes, if a candidate haven’t filled the application form yet, they can fill the application form of Uttarakhand MBBS BDS for Round II and participate in the corresponding seat allotment process. Please note that for fresh registrations, the candidate will be required to pay the application fee as well and exercise choice filling and locking.

  1. Should I upload all the documents as requested during the online application process? 

Ans: Yes, the candidate has to upload all the documents and in the correct specification as prescribed. Otherwise applications may be rejected.
