Uttarakhand MBBS Application Form 2018 - Hemwati Nandan Bahuguna Uttarakhand Medical Education University (HNBUMU) has scheduled to resume the Uttarakhand MBBS 2018 registration process on August 8, 2018 but has started on August 9. Candidates can register themselves for the counselling process till 4.00 PM on August 9.

Earlier, HNBUMU issued a notification stating that the registration process is over but the candidates will be allowed to vacate the seats after the result of All India Quota counselling is released. However, as per the new schedule, the registration window will be available on August 9 and the candidates will be allowed to fill Uttarakhand MBBS BDS application form 2018 from 8.00 AM to 4.00 PM on the said date. The last date to vacate the seat allotted in the first round is August 10. Uttarakhand MBBS BDS 2018 application form for round two was earlier released on July 15. The candidates must fill the application form for Uttarakhand MBBS 2018 if they did not register for round one. Filling up of the Uttarakhand MBBS 2018 application form enables the candidates to apply to the state quota seats.

The state merit list was released on June 30 after the completion of registration process. Candidates filling up the application form for Uttarakhand MBBS 2018 were required to obtain the required percentile in the NEET UG in order to be eligible for further admission process. Admissions of the candidates will depend upon the score obtained in the NEET UG 2018 examination. Candidates who have filled in the application form for Uttarakhand MBBS 2018 will be included in the state merit list and will be eligible for subsequent admissions.

Uttarakhand MBBS BDS 2018 Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens.

  • The age of candidates must be 17 years as on December 31 2018, and must not be more than 25 years of age as on May 7, 2018.

  • Candidates should not be domicile of Uttarakhand, in case they are not domicile of Uttarakhand then they must have passed Class 10 and Class 12 from any recognised institution of Uttarakhand.

  • Candidates must have obtained the required minimum percentile in the NEET 2018 UG examination.

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English from a board recognized by the Central/State government.

  • Candidates must have passed in each of the mentioned individual subjects securing a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (for unreserved category), 45% (for Physically Handicapped (PH), unreserved) and 40% (for reserved category including PH reserved) in the subjects mentioned above.

Steps to fill up the Uttarakhand MBBS BDS 2018 Application Form

Step 1 – Registration

Candidates are required to register online from the link given above to fill up the Uttarakhand MBBS BDS application form 2018. The login ID will be the NEET examination roll number. Upon submission of details like Name, Date of Birth, Mobile number, the candidates will receive a verification code in the provided registered mobile number which would have to be used as the default password for future purposes.

Step 2 – Submission of Academic Details

The candidates in this step need to submit their academic details like NEET score and rank, class 10 and 12 marks. The candidates must ensure that the academic details provided should be accurate. The details would be verified at the time of admission of the candidates.

Step 3 – Uploading of Documents

Candidates need to upload their recent passport sized photograph, signature and left thumb impression of the size range within 10-30kb while filling up the application form. The other relevant documents that the candidates are required to upload while filling up the application form for Uttarakhand MBBS 2018 include

  • NEET Admit and Score card

  • Class 10 certificate as proof of DOB

  • PWD certificate

  • OBC certificate

  • Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe certificate (if applicable)

  • SC/ST certificate of father

  • Character certificate

Step 4 – Payment of Application Fee and  Final Submission

Candidates are required to pay an application fee INR 2,000 through Net Banking/ Online Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card for  Uttarakhand MBBS 2018 admission. The amount paid for registration cum counselling is not refundable. After the payment of fee candidates can click on the 'I accept' button after verifying all the details as a final step towards submission. The credentials provided in the Uttarakhand MBBS application form 2018 will be used to prepare the merit list for admission of Uttarakhand MBBS 2018.

The candidates who have secured the minimum percentile in the NEET 2018 and who have completed the process of Uttarakhand 2018 MBBS application have been included in the state merit list released on June 30. Such candidates were eligible to participate in the online counselling process for further admissions.
