Tripura MBBS Application Details

Application forms for the Tripura state MBBS/BDS will be released online by the state counselling authority. The process of release of application form will tentatively start from the second week of June tentatively.


Tripura MBBS Eligibility Criteria

Following are the eligibility criteria to be fulfilled for admission to Tripura MBBS/BDS: 1. Candidates applying to Tripura MBBS BDS admission must be Indian citizens. 2. The candidates must be of 17 years of age at least as on December 31 of the year they are applying for admission 3. Candidates must be permanent residents of the state in order to be eligible for Tripura MBBS admission, which is either candidates or their parents must have resided in Teripura for a period of atleast 10 years prior to release of the NEET UG application form. 4. Candidates who are children of either All India service officers borne in Tripura cadre or employees of Tripura state government posted outside the state will be eligible irrespective of their prior stay period. 5. Candidates who are appearing in their class 12 examination from any institution in Tripura and are not permanent residents of Tripura but children of officer(s) on deputation to the Government of Tripura or Central Government officer(s) serving in the state government for a continuous period of three years are also eligible to apply for admission to Tripura MBBS 2018. 6. Candidates appearing for their Class 12 from any institution under Tripura Government who are not permanent residents but are children of ex-servicemen/defence personnel staying in Tripura for at least five years prior to the date of release of NEET UG application form. 7. Candidates must have passed Class 12 with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology and English from a board recognized by the Central/State government. 8. Candidates must have passed in each of the mentioned individual subjects securing a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (for unreserved category), 45% (for Physically Handicapped (PH), unreserved) and 40% (for the reserved category including PH reserved) in them. 9. Candidates must have secured the required minimum percentile in the NEET UG examination.
