AIIMS PG 2020 – All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the AIIMS PG 2020 admit card in online mode on the official website on July 5, 2020. A link to download the admit card of AIIMS PG 2020 is provided below and notice regarding the same will be available soon. Earlier the authorities had revised the date and time of AIIMS PG entrance exam for July session due to COVID-19 pandemic. As per the official notice released, AIIMS PG 2020 new exam date is June 11, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Earlier, the AIIMS PG July session exam for admission to 643 Masters of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Masters of Chirurgiae (MCh) was to be held on June 5, 2020, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon. The government guidelines on social distancing and sanitization will be followed at the AIIMS PG 2020 exam centres.
IMPORTANT: AIIMS PG 2020 admit card released for registered candidates!!
Only the candidates whose application form will be accepted can download AIIMS PG 2020 admit card. AIIMS PG 2020 July session will be conducted for three hours with 200 multiple choice questions taught in MBBS and BDS level. The result of AIIMS PG 2020 will be announced, in the form of merit list mentioning the overall rank, percentile, category rank, roll number and other details. Only candidates who will secure the minimum qualifying percentile will be called for counselling session. AIIMS PG counselling 2020 will be conducted in four rounds including spot round.
The entrance examination of AIIMS PG is held twice a year in the months of November and May. Last year, a total of 26,392 aspirants appeared for AIIMS PG July session, of which only 13,192 qualified for admission to MD/MS courses. - Seats increased - The total number of seats offered in AIIMS institutes are 643 for MD/MS/MDS/DM and MCh courses. For the previous year, the total seats offered was 548.
- One AIIMS added - In the AIIMS PG prospectus 2020, AIIMS, Nagpur has been added as a new institute offering 8 seats in MD/MS courses.
- Exam cities decreased - The number of AIIMS PG exam cities 2020, in comparison to previous years has been decreased. The exam will be held in a total of 56 cities, while in the last session, it was conducted in 68 cities of India. A total of 14 cities have been added, while a number of 23 cities removed from this session's prospectus.
- Fees for EWS category - The application fees for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) is Rs. 1200 which should be paid in online mode using credit/debit card or net banking.
- Counselling registration fee - For the first time, the authority will charge the AIIMS PG counselling registration fee of Rs. 500 from every eligible aspirant, which should be paid in online modes.

The conducting body has released AIIMS admit card for MD/MS, MDS, DM/MCh courses on June 5, 2020. It was earlier expected to be issued on June 3, 2020, by 5:00 PM. Candidates who will successfully register themselves through PAAR registration process can download AIIMS PG 2020 admit card July session. In order to download the individual AIIMS PG hall ticket 2020, aspirants must submit the registration ID, Registration Unique Code (RUC), password and captcha code. It is mandatory to download and verify the details printed in the admit card. AIIMS PG admit card 2020 will mention details like candidates’ name, roll number, examination venue, examination timing etc. The admit card also bears important instruction which a candidate must read carefully and adhere to. Flouting of any of the rules mentioned on the admit card of AIIMS PG 2020 July session may result in cancellation of candidature.
Candidates appearing for AIIMS PG 2020 must make sure that they fulfil the following criteria listed below.
- Candidates should possess an MBBS degree for MD/MS and BDS degree for MDS from an institution recognized by the Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India.
Candidates need to have completed one year of rotating internship on or before July 30, 2020.
Applicants from General Category are required to have secured a minimum of 55% aggregate in MBBS, while the candidates belonging to SC/ST category are required to have scored an aggregate of 50%.
Medicos should also obtain the registration certificate issued by the Medical Council of India (MCI)/Dental Council (DCI) or State Medical Council (SMC)/State Dental Council (SDC).
The final registration of AIIMS PG 2020 has been re-opened from May 1, in online mode. Aspirants can use the link available above to fill the AIIMS PG 2020 application form July session. Candidates who have completed their basic registration can complete the final registration of AIIMS PG 2020 till May 8. Only the registered aspirants can download the admit card.
The regulatory body of AIIMS PG had introduced a new application process named as PAAR (Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration) facility. In the PAAR registration process, AIIMS PG application form 2020 can be filled in two stages - Basic Registration and Final Registration. The medical aspirants who will successfully complete the basic registration process will be eligible to participate in the final registration process. Only those candidates who successfully complete the entire application process have been issued the AIIMS PG admit card.
The AIIMS PG 2020 application form fee is INR 1,500 for the General and OBC categories, while for SC/ST/EWS category it is INR 1,200. The candidates belonging to OPH/differently-abled categories are exempted from paying the fee of AIIMS PG 2020 application form. The AIIMS PG 2020 application fee can be paid in the online mode through net banking/credit card/debit card.

AIIMS PG 2020 exam centres has been released by the competent authority along with the availability of information brochure for July session. AIIMS PG entrance examination will be conducted in 56 major cities of India. For this session, the number of exam cities has been decreased. AIIMS PG 2020 exam centres are divided into eight different zones in the country. The minimum rank and scores required to be obtained by the candidates in order to qualify in the exam will be considered as the cutoff of AIIMS PG 2020 for July session. The exam conducting authority prescribes the AIIMS PG cutoff 2020 for July session. In order to qualify the entrance exam, all the candidates, irrespective of their category, are required to secure at least 50th percentile as the cutoff of AIIMS PG 2020. The candidates will be included in the result cum merit list and called for counselling based on the cutoff of AIIMS PG 2020. Along with the AIIMS PG result, the cut off for the particular counselling session will also be released.
Last year for July session, the last AIIMS PG cut off rank for unreserved category candidates was 2370, while the percentile scores corresponding to the rank was 90.8. AIIMS PG 2020 counselling for July session will be conducted in online mode for admission to 539 MD/MS/DM/MCh and MDS seats offered by seven AIIMS institutes. Only the qualified candidates will be called for the counselling of AIIMS PG 2020. The seat allotment process will be conducted in four rounds in inclusion of a spot admission round. Before the commencement of AIIMS PG counselling 2020 session, the authority will also organise a mock allotment round to give better idea of allotments and process. For each round, the number of candidates called for AIIMS PG counselling will be eight times the number of seats.
In order to appear for the counselling of AIIMS PG 2020 July session, candidates need to register themselves by logging in. During the registration process, it is mandatory to fill and lock the choices of colleges as well as courses, in which they wish to get admission into. They can select any number of colleges for admission to PG medical courses. Based on these preferences, AIIMS PG rank, seats available, reservation criteria and other factors, the admission will be granted.

After the allotment of seats, candidates will be required to select their option that whether they have accepted the seat or not. In case, if they wish to appear for subsequent rounds of AIIMS PG counselling, then they will not have to register again. The third round of AIIMS PG counselling 2020 January session is being conducted in online mode. In case of any other vacant seats left, the authority will conduct a spot admission round, which will be conducted in offline mode at AIIMS, New Delhi. All candidates who take up admission through AIIMS PG 2020 will be required to bind in a contract with the institution. The terms of AIIMS PG 2020 contract include the following.
A contract service time of three years will have to be fulfilled by each junior resident.
The academic section of a particular AIIMS where admission is sought will retain all the original documents of the candidate who takes up the confirmed seat. The documents will be returned only on completion of the course or upon payment of a sum of INR 1,00,000.
A candidate joining the MD/MS/MDS course, if withdraws admission from the said course within six months, s/he will be liable to pay a compensation fee of INR 1,00,000 to curb the losses incurred by the AIIMS institute due to such departure.

The criteria for seat reservation in AIIMS PG 2020 is described in detail in the table below. Candidates from the scheduled tribe, scheduled caste and other backward classes (non-creamy layer) excluding sponsored/foreign nationals, are entitled to a reservation os as many as 49.5% of postgraduate seats. Additionally, 5% of seats are reserved for Orthopaedic Physically Handicapped candidates who are Indian nationals.

Hello student the entrance examination of AIIMS pg conduct twice a year for January and July session. Eligibility criteria says - Candidates must complete their mandatory rotational internship on or before 31st July 2020. So on the basis of eligibility criteria you're not eligible this year.
