Many aspirants fail to reach the 650+ mark not because they lack knowledge, but because they do not follow a structured preparation plan. The key is to identify must-attempt questions, focus on repeated concepts from previous years, and build accuracy under time pressure. A disciplined NEET preparation strategy, combined with daily MCQ practice and proper error analysis, can significantly improve your chances of scoring 650+ in NEET 2026.
The subject-wise preparation of the NEET 2026 syllabus provides clarity and direction for effective 650+ score results. Follow High Scoring Chapters That Cover 60% of the NEET 2026 Paper with NCERT- based study and mock test practice.
Previous year questions are a type of blueprint for scoring 650+. Every year, NEET recycle the concepts and reframes the previous year's questions. It examines the same high-weightage chapter topics. So a clear trend of topics repeated in PYQs can be analysed and help students to score 650+ easily. Here are some NEET 650+ score must attempt questions:
Question: The ratio of the distances travelled by a freely falling body in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th seconds is:
Options:
(1) $1:1:1:1$
(2) $1:2:3:4$
(3) $1:4:9:16$
(4) $1:3:5:7$
Correct Answer: (4) $1:3:5:7$
Chapter: Kinematics
Explanation:
Distance in $n^{th}$ second
$S_n = u + \frac{a}{2}(2n-1)$
For free fall, $u=0$
$\Rightarrow S_n \propto (2n-1)$
$\therefore S_1:S_2:S_3:S_4 = 1:3:5:7$
Question: A shell of mass $m$ is at rest initially. It explodes into three fragments having mass in the ratio $2:2:1$. If the fragments having equal mass fly off along mutually perpendicular directions with speed $v$, the speed of the third fragment is:
Options:
(1) $3\sqrt2 v$
(2) $v$
(3) $\sqrt2 v$
(4) $2\sqrt2 v$
Correct Answer: (4) $2\sqrt2 v$
Chapter: Work, Energy and Power
Explanation:
Mass of equal fragments $=\frac{2m}{5}$
Resultant momentum - $=\frac{2m}{5}v\sqrt2$
By conservation of momentum
$\frac{m}{5}v_3=\frac{2m}{5}v\sqrt2$
$\Rightarrow v_3=2\sqrt2 v$
Question: As the temperature increases, the electrical resistance:
Options:
(1) Decreases for conductors but increases for semiconductors
(2) Increases for both conductors and semiconductors
(3) Decreases for both conductors and semiconductors
(4) Increases for conductors but decreases for semiconductors
Correct Answer: (4)
Chapter: Current Electricity / Semiconductors
Explanation:
Conductors: lattice vibration increases $\Rightarrow$ resistance increases
Semiconductors: carriers increase $\Rightarrow$ resistance decreases
Question: The reaction centre in PS II has absorption maxima at:
Options:
(1) $680,nm$
(2) $700,nm$
(3) $660,nm$
(4) $720,nm$
Correct Answer: (1) $680,nm$
Chapter: Photosynthesis in Higher Plants
Explanation: PS II reaction centre is P680.
Question: Which of the following is an example of ex-situ conservation?
Options:
(1) National park
(2) Wildlife sanctuary
(3) Zoos and botanical gardens
(4) Biosphere reserve
Correct Answer: (3) Zoos and botanical gardens
Chapter: Living World
Explanation: Ex-situ conservation occurs outside natural habitat.
Question: Among eukaryotes, replication of DNA takes place in:
Options:
(1) M phase
(2) S phase
(3) G$_1$ phase
(4) G$_2$ phase
Correct Answer: (2) S phase
Chapter: Cell Cycle & Cell Division
Explanation: DNA synthesis occurs during the S phase.
Question: Streptokinase, produced by the bacterium Streptococcus, is used for:
Options:
(1) Curd production
(2) Ethanol production
(3) Liver disease treatment
(4) Removing clots from blood vessels
Correct Answer: (4) Removing clots from blood vessels
Chapter: Microbes in Human Welfare
Explanation: Streptokinase is a thrombolytic enzyme used to dissolve blood clots.
Question: Which type of immunity is present at the time of birth and is non-specific?
Options:
(1) Acquired immunity
(2) Innate immunity
(3) Cell-mediated immunity
(4) Humoral immunity
Correct Answer: (2) Innate immunity
Chapter: Human Health & Disease
Explanation: Innate immunity is present from birth and non-specific.
