Haryana MBBS admission 2026: Eligibility criteria

To get admission to the MBBS colleges in Haryana, candidates must appear for the NEET UG entrance exam and fulfil the NEET eligibility criteria as well as the eligibility criteria of Haryana. The eligibility criteria are as follows:

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

• Non-resident Indians (NRI), Persons of Indian origin (PIO), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) can also apply.

• Aspirants who are bonafide citizens of Haryana are eligible for admission to the state MBBS colleges.

• The minimum age of the candidates should be 17 years as of December 31 of the year of admission.

• Candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examinations with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, and English as the main subjects from a recognised board.

• Aspirants from the general category must obtain 50% in Class 12, whereas for SC/ST/OBC, the minimum percentage required is 40%, and for the PwD category candidate,s it is 40%.

• The candidates must qualify for the NEET cut-off scores.

Haryana MBBS application form

DMER releases the application form for admission to the MBBS colleges in Haryana at their official website, dmer.haryana.gov.in. Candidates can follow this process to fill out the Haryana MBBS admission form.

• In the first step, candidates must register at the DMER website under Haryana MBBS admission 2026 by providing their academic and personal details.

• Once the MBBS registration in Haryana is completed, candidates obtain their login credentials.

• Using the login credentials, candidates should fill out the details required in the Haryana MBBS application form.

• Aspirants must upload scanned copies of their photographs and other documents in the prescribed format.

• The last step is the payment of the application fee.

• Filling out the application form is completed after the successful transaction.

Haryana MBBS merit list

DMER publishes the merit list for the Haryana MBBS admission. The Haryana MBBS merit list is based on the NEET scores, state cut-off and reservation criteria. The merit list includes the candidate's name, state rank, All India rank (AIR), NEET score, NEET roll number, and category. The shortlisted candidates are called for counselling.

DMER conducts online MBBS Haryana counselling for admission to government medical colleges in Haryana. Candidates have to register themselves at uhsrugcounselling.com. While registering for Haryana MBBS Counselling, candidates have to fill out their course and college preferences. Seats are allotted based on available seats, merit lists, the total number of government colleges, and filled preferences.

Haryana MBBS admission 2026: Documents required

Candidates are called for document verification in the allotted colleges. Candidates are required to complete the document verification within the stipulated time and date. Two sets of self-attested copies of the following documents are required.

• Copy of NEET admit card

• Copy of NEET result

• Marksheets of Class 10 and 12, along with the examination certificates

• Character certificate issued by the last-attended school or institution

• Bonafide residential certificate, if applicable

• Caste certificate issued by the concerned authority, if applicable

• Resident certificate, if required

• For PwD candidates,a certificate of disability

• Income certificate for SC/OBC and EWS candidates

• Certificates of dependents of freedom fighters

• Valid ID proof of the applicant includes an Aadhar card, a driving licence, a voter ID Card, a passport or a PAN card

• Four passport-size photographs
