Uttarakhand MBBS Application Details
The state counselling authority releases the application forms for admission to Uttarakhand MBBS/BDS by the second week of June. Candidates must mandatorily fill in the application form to be eligible for admission.
Uttarakhand MBBS Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria for Uttarakhand MBBS/BDS admission: 1. The candidates must be citizens of India. 2. The candidates must have completed 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the given academic year for which the admission is being conducted. 3. Candidates who are Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand. 4. Candidates who have passed both Class 10 and Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized educational institution situated in the State of Uttarakhand provided they fulfill basic eligibility required. 5. Candidates who have scored the required minimum percentile and marks and are Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand but have passed High school (Class 10) and/or Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from recognized educational institutions situated outside the State of Uttarakhand. 6. Candidates with minimum marks and percentile who are not Domicile/Permanent residents of Uttarakhand but have passed both High school (Class 10) and Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination from recognized educational institutions situated in the State of Uttarakhand shall also be eligible but they will not be entitled to any type of reservation. 7. Wards of Kashmiri migrants who have qualified in the NEET UG examination and fulfill the minimum educational requirements. Domicile of Uttarakhand is not mandatory in order to get the benefit against Wards of Kashmiri Migrants (WKM) reserved seats. 8. The candidate seeking admission to various MBBS/BDS courses of the state must have qualified the the Senior Secondary examination (10+2) after a period of 12 years equivalent to study, from a board recognized by Central/ State Government only, the last 2 years of study comprising of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology with English as compulsory subjects. 9. H/she must have passed in the above-mentioned subjects individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks aggregate (for unreserved category, 45% for the Physically Handicapped (PH), and 40% for reserved (including PH of the same) in them at the qualifying examination. 10. The candidates must also have cleared the NEET UG exam with specified qualifying percentile.
