PGIMER 2020 – The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh, has announced the result of PGIMER 2020 in the form of scorecards on December 9, 2019. Earlier the authorities were supposed to release PGIMER result 2020 on December 6, 2019, however, through an official notification they informed about the change in date. The test takers who secure PGIMER minimum percentile will be considered qualified. Aspirants belonging to unreserved category must secure at least 55th percentile, while SC/ST/OBC students must secure 50th percentile. Only aspirants who will pass the exam will be called for offline PGIMER counselling 2020, which will begin from December 20, 2019, at Bhargava Auditorium. The PGIMER exam for January session was successfully conducted on November 30, 2019, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. PGIMER 2020 January session was held in computer-based mode for admission to 207 Masters of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD) seats under 20 specialties. For the academic session 2020-21, PGIMER exam was held in 13 cities of India.
Recognized as one of the premier medical institutions of the country, the MD and MS programmes of PGIMER Chandigarh follow a structure involving residency-cum-training over a period of three years. Candidates taking admission through PGIMER exam will be called as Junior Residents. PGIMER 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants are required to fulfil the PGIMER eligibility criteria 2020 so as to apply for the post-graduate entrance examination. The PGIMER 2020 eligibility criteria are set by the examination conducting authority, PGIMER Chandigarh. The terms of the eligibility criteria of PGIMER 2020 are listed below.
Educational Qualification: All the candidates applying for PGIMER 2020 are required to complete their MBBS degree from a Medical Council of India (MCI) recognized institution.
Internship Completion: Candidates attempting PGIMER 2020 for January session are required to complete the rotatory one-year internship mandatorily by December 31, 2020.
Other: Candidates must possess a registration certificate from the Medical Council of India (MCI) or State Medical Council (SMC).
PGIMER Application Form 2020
The PGIMER 2020 application form for the January session had been released on October 26, 2019, which remained open till November 11, 2019. A link to fill the PGIMER 2020 application form was provided above. Before filling the application form of PGIMER 2020, aspirants must ensure that they have read the terms of the eligibility criteria and fulfil its conditions. The authorities will release the PGIMER application form in the online mode only. However, the application fee has to be paid offline. The PGIMER 2020 application form fee can be paid either via bank challan in any branches of the State Bank of India (SBI) in favour of ‘Director, PGIMER Chandigarh’ or through SBI i-collect service for candidates with SBI bank accounts. PGIMER Admit Card 2020
PGIMER, Chandigarh had issued the PGIMER 2020 admit card for January session on November 25, 2019. The PGIMER 2020 admit card has been released for only those candidates who have successfully submitted the application form within the stipulated time period. The admit card of PGIMER 2020 has been released in online mode. Candidates will be able to download the PGIMER admit card 2020 by using the Login ID and password generated at the time of registration for filling up the application form. The admit card of PGIMER 2020 will mention the personal details, roll number, and examination centre details of the candidates. All candidates have to carry the PGIMER 2020 admit card and a valid photo identity proof along with them to the examination hall in order to be allowed to sit for the examination.

PGIMER Result 2020
The result of PGIMER 2020 for January session has been released on December 9, in online mode. Usually PGIMER, Chandigarh declares the result within 24 hours of the exam date, however, this time the authority has declared the result within a week's time. Aspirants who will secure the minimum qualifying percentile as set by the authority will be included in the result of PGIMER 2020. PGIMER MD/MS result 2020 for January session has been announced in the form of merit list containing the names of candidates, percentile scores, overall rank, category rank and category. PGIMER Cutoff 2020
Candidates are required to meet the PGIMER 2020 cutoff in order to pass in the postgraduate entrance examination. PGIMER Counselling 2020
PGIMER Chandigarh will conduct the counselling for PGIMER 2020. The sessions for PGIMER 2019 counselling will be held offline. The counselling for PGIMER 2020 will be held in three rounds subject to availability of seats. For the first round of PGIMER counselling 2020, candidates equal to three times the number of available seats will be invited. Candidates meeting the cutoff percentile requirement will be called for the various rounds of PGIMER 2020 counselling based on their merit rank. All the candidates called for PGIMER counselling 2020 will have to report in-person at the counselling centre on the stipulated date and time. Any candidate not reporting for the counselling of PGIMER 2020 will not be considered for admission. However, such candidates will be eligible to participate in the subsequent rounds of counselling.
PGIMER Seat Reservation 2020
A total of approximately 207 seats will be offered by PGIMER 2020 across 20 departments in the disciplines of Master of Surgery (MS) and Doctor of Medicine (MD). The PGIMER 2020 seat reservation for various categories is according to the norms of Government of India. Apart from this, 5% seats are reserved from candidates from rural areas, another 5% of seats are reserved for Persons with Disability, and one seat is reserved for a sponsored/deputed candidate as per the criteria for seat reservation in PGIMER 2020.

PGIMER application form 2020 was available in online mode from October 26 to November 14, 2019. The competent authority has also introduced several changes for the upcoming entrance test of PGIMER. As per the new changes, timings of examination have been changed from 9:00 AM - 12:00 noon to 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. For the first time, PGIMER 2020 will be conducted in the computer-based mode on November 30, 2019.

Check the guideline from the board for attesting part. but it is not needed as document verification will be done by the end. if any one has false document will be rejected then and there. still check it from the information broucher provided to you while filling the form.
Normally in any entrance they don't say to attest it. if any original document is not there then they are attested from the institution to prove that they are verified. Better to make it clear so check it.
