    How to calculate negative marking in NEET 2025?

    As per the NEET marking scheme 2025, one mark is deducted for each incorrect answer and 4 marks are given for each correct response. Candidates can calculate the NEET 2025 scores using the formula as specified by the NTA. Check the steps below to know how to calculate NEET marks with negative marking.

    Calculate the correct answers

    Determine the correct answers in the NEET response sheet using the NEET official answer key. Calculate the number of correct responses by 4. Each correct answer carries 4 marks in the NEET exam. Write down the total score of correct responses for further use.

    Count the incorrect answers

    Check the number of incorrect responses marked in the OMR sheet. Multiply the number of incorrect answers by 1. Each incorrect answer loses one mark.

    i have got 460 marks in neet 2026 rank is approx 150450 i m from UP and category is OBC is there any chances of getting college in mbbs bds or bams or deemed University at low budget
