NEET is the single medical entrance exam conducted in India for admission to undergraduate medical courses. For NEET admissions in the medical and dental colleges in Delhi, 85% seats are reserved for candidates who are domiciled in the state. Candidates wishing to get admission to MBBS or BDS courses in the colleges of Delhi must fulfill the Delhi domicile status and NEET eligibility. The NEET 2025 Delhi state domicile guidelines can be checked from the points below.
Age: Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.
Qualifying examination: Candidates must have passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as core subjects. Candidates of General category must have scored at least 50% aggregate marks in the PCB and English subjects.
Delhi domicile requirements for NEET 2025:
To be eligible for 85% seats of Delhi quota, medical aspirants must have passed class 11 and class 12 from the school of Delhi affiliated to CBSE or ICSE or Jamia Milia Islamia board.
Candidates who have passed class 12 from Patrachar Vidyalaya or National Institute of Open Schooling are eligible to apply provided their study centre and exam centre were within the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCTD). Such candidates have to upload supporting documents of the same.
Candidates who have passed their class 12 from NIOS or state open school or as private candidates from a recognized state board/ candidates who have passed class 12 with Biology or Biotechnology as an additional subject are eligible to apply for NEET Delhi quota seats as an outcome of a special leave petition filed by NMC.
Competitive exam to be qualified: Candidates must have qualified the NEET UG exam to be eligible for 85% Delhi quota seats.
Medical fitness: Candidates must be medically fit.

Documentation: To apply for Delhi domicile for NEET UG 2025, candidates need to gather necessary documents. The documents needed for Delhi domicile in NEET 2025 include proof of date of birth, evidence of their class 12 studies from Delhi and other supporting documents.
Application process: In the next step, candidates need to obtain the domicile certificate application form from the Delhi Revenue Department's official website or local revenue office. Complete the form accurately and have it attested by a Class I gazetted officer.
Submission: Submit the attested application form along with the required documents to the designated authority, such as the office of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) in your area.
Verification and issuance: The authorities verify the application and documents. Upon successful verification, the domicile certificate is issued, which can then be used during the NEET 2025 counselling process to claim eligibility under the Delhi state quota.
