About NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam)
National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam, commonly known as NEET, is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NEET is a national-level entrance exam for admission in undergraduate medical courses like MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, Veterinary, and others. It is conducted in 13 languages. To apply for NEET, the candidate must belong to a science background. It is conducted once every year. The duration of the NEET entrance exam is 3 hours. There are a total of 180 questions in the paper. The whole question paper is divided into 3 sections- Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The NEET exam is of 720 marks. It is conducted in offline mode and is a written test. All the questions are multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There is a negative marking in the NEET exam. You get 4 marks for every correct answer and lose 1 mark for every incorrect answer.
