As the medical entrance exam last year has faced many security breach issues, the candidates appearing for NEET 2025 exam can expect a multi-level security check at NEET 2025 centre. This will include:
Reporting at the NEET exam centres: Aspirants must reach the NEET 2025 exam centre well before the NEET reporting time. Candidates must carry their NEET admit card and other documents required at the NEET exam centre. At the gate candidates will be guided towards the frisking area.
Screening through metal detector: A highly sensitive metal detector is used by security personnel to scan the candidate from head to toe without any physical contact. This is done to detect any hidden electronic or metal items.
Physical checking before the NEET exam: In some cases, additional physical frisking is done to ensure there are no hidden barred items. Female candidates are frisked by female staff separately to maintain privacy.
Checking the clothing and footwear: NTA has specified NEET dress code that candidates should follow on the NEET exam day. The NEET dress code for female candidates mentions wearing light clothes with no heavy embroidery, avoiding jewellery, high heels and leggings. NEET dress code for male candidates includes simple, light clothes with no pockets. Candidates also have to follow the NEET footwear guidelines as stated by the authority.
Checking of physical items: Aspirants are only allowed to carry NEET 2025 admit card, valid government ID proof and other documents as already stated by the authority in the NEET information brochure. At the NEET exam centre gate, candidates are checked for the physical items they are carrying. Banned items are confiscated and not returned.
Aspirants wearing customary dress in the NEET 2025 exam (dress as per their religion) must report at the exam centre at least two hours before the last reporting time for proper NEET 2025 frisking process. Candidates wearing turban, burqa or hijab are allowed to enter the NEET 2025 exam centre after the completion of the security check at the NEET exam centre. If in any case, a candidate is found carrying a suspected device within the customary items, the authority may take strict action against the candidate.
