NEET Result 2026 will be declared by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on or before July 20 at neet.nta.nic.in. As per the media reports, the NTA is expected to declare the Re NEET 2026 result by July 20. NTA has already released the OMR response sheet on July 13, which candidates can challenge till July 15, 2026. NTA will review the challenges and then declare the result of Re NEET 2026 before July 20, 2026. Students can download their scorecard by logging in with their application number and password. The NEET AIQ merit list 2026 for 15% AIQ is prepared by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), on behalf of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS). This merit list is prepared by using the All India Rank provided by NTA. Alloment to 15% AIQ seats including AIIMS, JIPMER an others is done on the basis of NEET 15% AIQ merit list.
Each state counselling authority prepares a state-specific merit list based on the All India Rank released by NTA. This merit list is used for admission to 85% State Quota seats in government and private medical colleges.

After the announcement of NEET result 2026, qualified candidates have to participate in the counselling process. The NEET counselling for 15% AIQ seats is conducted by the MCC whereas respective state authorities conduct counselling for 85% state quota seats. Candidates have to register and fill and lock their prefernces within specified dates. The seat allotment is done based on the NEET rank, choices filled, availability of seats and reservation rules.
