The authority has specified the NEET dress code for female candidates in its information bulletin. Also, these guidelines will be mentioned in the NEET 2025 admit card. Some of these guidelines are as follows -
Female candidates are not allowed to wear brooch, flowers, badges, or jeans with prints. Only simple denim jeans with no prints are allowed.
Ornaments such as earrings, nose rings, pendants, necklaces, etc are not at all preferable for females in the examination hall.
Female candidates can wear light-coloured denim pants and half-sleeve t-shirts, given that the size of the shirt buttons should be medium.
Kurti is not allowed for female candidates during the examination.

Can I wear jeans in NEET exam?

Candidates wearing a customary/ cultural dress like a Turban, Hijab, or Burqa have to report at 12:30 PM along with the NEET 2025 admit card to ensure proper frisking. Candidates who follow a certain religion that prescribes a customary dress can appear for NEET 2025 in their customary dress. As per the Delhi High Court order, Sikh candidates are allowed to carry traditional kangha, Kara, and Kirpan with them. Female candidates are also allowed to wear a burka. These items will be considered by the authorities as to the customary dress.
At the time of filling NEET application form 2025, candidates will be asked whether they wish to wear the customary dress which contradicts the NEET 2025 dress code, an image for reference is provided. Along with following the NTA NEET dress code 2025, candidates must also ensure that they do not carry any of the prohibited items to the exam centre listed below.
Electronic items: Mobile phones, pen drives, earphones, microphones, Bluetooth devices, and watches, are not permitted inside the examination hall.
Eatables: Food items in any form: packed or unpacked and personal water bottles are not permitted inside the test centre. However, candidates with special conditions such as diabetes are allowed to carry their medicines, food, and a transparent water bottle.
Stationery: Pen/pencil, paper, eraser, scales, geometry box, calculator, and log tables all are prohibited from carrying inside the test centre.
Personal items: Wallets, goggles, belts, caps, accessories, cameras, and ornaments, are not allowed to be carried inside the exam hall.

It is because wearing them may cause a problem during biometric verification. If your daughter is currently studying in a CBSE affiliated school in Qatar and has been living abroad for the past few years, she will likely qualify for an NRI seat when applying for NEET, as she meets the criteria of being an Indian citizen residing abroad and completing her 10th and 12th education from a foreign country.
NRI students can apply NEET UG under NRI category. Your daughter will be applying for seats under AIQ quota i.e 15% seats only .some states dont give reservation to NRI like Karnataka but some states like gujarat has NRI reservation.while considering colleges check specific eligibility criteria of the medical colleges you are applying to, as there may be minor variations in their NRI admission policies.
