All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi will conduct the exam for AIIMS PG on June 5. The authority, on May 20 has postponed the admit card of AIIMS PG due to unavoidable circumstances. New date of the release of the admit card will be announced soon. The authority on April 28, had released the revised notice for AIIMS PG 2020 final registration and status. Earlier, the final registration had been postponed due to COVID 19 outbreak.
The final status of accepted/rejected basic registration of AIIMS PG 2020 was released on February 27. AIIMS aspirants could make changes in the images uploaded by them in basic registration from February 23 to 25. AIIMS PG July session will be conducted for admission to 643 MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh seats offered in seven AIIMS institutes located in Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, Nagpur and Rishikesh.
Candidates who successfully complete the basic registration were able to generate the code for the exam from February 28,11:00 AM till March 23, 5:00 PM. The window to edit option for the column of final registration will be available from April 7, 11:00 AM to April 9 till 5:00 PM. The admit card will be released by the authority on the official website.
AIIMS PG is a post-graduate entrance examination conducted at the national level for admission to postgraduate courses like Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and MCh courses. The examination of AIIMS PG 2020 has two sessions held in the month of January and July for which the entrance exam is conducted in the month of November and May. AIIMS PG 2020 will offer admission to the disciplines of Clinical Sciences and Basic Clinical Sciences.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has re-opened the final registration of AIIMS PG 2020 on May 1, in online mode. Candidates who have completed their basic registration can complete the final registration of AIIMS PG 2020 till May 8. Earlier, the authority had started the final registration of AIIMS PG July session on March 20. The basic registration for AIIMS PG July session started on November 27, 20219 and had been concluded on February 10, 2020. To make the changes in the application form, AIIMS PG correction window was opened from February 17 to 21, 2020. AIIMS PG July session will be conducted for admission to 643 MD/MS/MDS/DM/MCh seats offered in seven AIIMS institutes located in Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Jodhpur, Patna, Raipur, Nagpur and Rishikesh.

The AIIMS PG Admit card 2020 will be released in the online mode for all the candidates who have successfully submitted the application form. However, in view of the massive Covid-19 outbreak the authority has delayed the release of the AIIMG 2020 admit card. The new date will be announced shortly. The admit card will be available in the PDF format and will include details of the candidate such as name, roll number, date of birth, photograph, signature, and thumb impression and other crucial details like the exam centre and timing. All candidates will be required to download the admit card of AIIMS PG 2020 by using their respective registration ID and registration unique code and carry the AIIMS PG 2020 admit card to the examination hall in order to be able to appear in the entrance test.
AIIMS PG result 2020 will be released in the form of merit list. After the release of the result, the authority will also release the AIIMS PG scorecard which will carry individual percentile. Only the candidates who will met the cutoff requirement of AIIMS PG i.e 50th percentile or above (for all categories) will be included in the merit list. Each candidate will be required to download the individual scorecard. The mode of release of AIMS PG 2020 scorecard will be online which will be accessible by using the login credentials.
The cutoff of AIIMS PG 2020 is the minimum marks to be secured by each candidate in order to be rendered as qualified in the postgraduate entrance examination. The AIIMS PG 2020 cutoff as decided by AIIMS, New Delhi is 50th percentile for candidates from all categories. Percentile does not exactly specify marks but indicate a candidate's performance relative to others who appear in the examination. The conducting body had also release the AIIMS PG cutoff 2020 which indicates the minimum percentile required to be considered eligible for counselling. AIIMS PG counselling 2020 will be conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi. AIIMS PG counselling is being conducted in four rounds - first, second, third and open. If seats are left vacant after the conclusion of all rounds, a spot round is also organised to fill the seats left vacant. The candidates will have to pay Rs.500 registration fee for counselling.
The mode of counselling for AIIMS PG 2020 for the first, second, and the third round will be online while the counselling for the open round will be held offline at AIIMS, New Delhi. All the candidates who will secure the cutoff requirement are eligible for AIIMS PG 2020 counselling. The process of AIIMS PG counselling 2020 will be entirely based on the candidates' merit ranks in the rank lists of AIIMS PG 2020 result. The seat allotment through AIIMS PG 2020 counselling will depend on factors like seat reservation for various categories and preference for AIIMS MBBS graduates.
