About AIIMS PG 2019

AIIMS PG 2019 will be conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The examination of AIIMS PG 2019 will be conducted for January and July sessions. AIIMS PG is a post-graduate entrance examination conducted at the national level for admission to postgraduate courses like Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS). AIIMS PG 2019 will offer admission to the disciplines of Clinical Sciences and Basic Clinical Sciences. The important dates of AIIMS PG 2019 for the January session have been announced by the exam conducting authority AIIMS, New Delhi.

Candidates are required to fulfil the following AIIMS PG 2019 eligibility criteria in order to be eligible for the exam.

  • Candidates are required to possess an MBBS degree from a Medical Council of India recognized institution.
  • All candidates are required to complete the rotatory internship period of one year on or before the assigned date as a fulfilment of AIIMS PG eligibility criteria 2019. 
  • Medical graduates belonging to the General and OBC categories (including PwD General) are required to obtain an aggregate of 55% in the MBBS exam while those belonging to SC/ST category (including PwD SC/ST) must obtain 50% in aggregate.

The AIIMS PG admit card 2019 will be made available for those candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria and have successfully submitted the application form. The AIIMS PG 2019 admit card will be made available online in the downloadable PDF format. The admit card of AIIMS PG 2019 will include details about the candidate such as name, roll number, date of birth, photograph, signature, and thumb impression and also details about the candidate's exam centre and timing. All candidates are required to mandatorily download by using their Applicant Login Id and password and carry the AIIMS PG 2019 admit card to the examination hall in order to be able to appear in the entrance test.

The AIMS PG result 2019 will be declared by AIIMS, New Delhi. The AIIMS PG 2019 result will be released in the form of roll number wise and rank-wise merit lists. Only the candidates who score meet the cutoff requirement of AIIMS PG ie, 50th percentile or above (for all categories) will be included in the result of AIIMS PG 2019. The mode of release of AIMS PG 2019 result will be online and can be accessed by using the login credentials. Candidates who have been included in the lists of AIIMS PG result 2019 will also receive individual scorecards. Candidates who will qualify according to the result of AIIMS PG 2019 will be rendered eligible for further counselling sessions.

The cutoff of AIIMS PG 2019 is the minimum marks to be secured by each candidate in order to be rendered as qualified in the postgraduate entrance examination. The AIIMS PG 2019 cutoff as decided by AIIMS, New Delhi is 50th percentile for candidates from all categories. Percentile does not exactly specify marks but indicate a candidate's performance relative to others who appear in the examination. All the candidates scoring 50 percentile or above in the AIIMS PG 2019 examination will be included in the AIIMS PG 2019 result rank lists.

Mode of Counselling: Online, Offline

AIIMS PG counselling 2019 will be conducted by AIIMS, New Delhi. AIIMS PG 2019 counselling will be held in three rounds - first, second, and third. Also, an open round is held for seats left vacant. The mode of counselling for AIIMS PG 2019 for the first, second, and third round will be online while the counselling for the mop-up round will be held offline at AIIMS, New Delhi. All the candidates who have met the cutoff requirement are eligible for AIIMS PG 2019 counselling. Candidates need to register online to participate in the counselling of AIIMS PG 2019 and exercise their subject and AIIMS campus preference. The process of AIIMS PG counselling 2019 will be entirely based on the candidates' merit ranks in the rank lists of AIIMS PG 2019 result. The seat allotment through AIIMS PG 2019 counselling will depend on factors like seat reservation for various categories and preference for AIIMS MBBS graduates.
