The NTA released the data on the number of students appeared in the NEET UG 2024 entrance exam. As per the NTA, 2,33,3297 candidates appeared for the NEET 2024, out of which 9,98,205 were male candidates, 13,34,940 were female candidates, and 17 candidates were from third gender. In re-NEET 2024, 813 students appeared for the exam, out of 1,563. NEET 2024 recorded the highest-ever registrations.

The NEET 2024 exam date was May 5, 2024. The NEET 2024 result was announced on June 4. The NTA conducted NEET 2024 re-exam on June 23 for the 1,563 candidates. The re-NEET 2024 exam result was declared on June 30, 2024.

How many students qualified for NEET 2023?

As per the statistics released by the authority, 11.45 lakh candidates qualified for NEET 2023. Candidates from the General category who qualified in NEET 2023 amount to 3.12 lakh whereas those qualifying from SC and ST categories were 1.53 lakh and 56.3 K respectively.

How many students registered and appeared for NEET 2022?

According to the data, in NEET-UG 2022, the number of registered male candidates increased to 807538, out of which 763545 appeared for the exam, and 429160 candidates qualified for admission. On the other hand, in NEET-UG 2021, 710979 male candidates registered, out of which 681168 appeared for the exam, and 375260 candidates qualified for admission to medical colleges.

Similarly, in NEET-UG 2022, the number of registered female candidates increased to 1064794, out of which 1001015 appeared for the exam, and 563902 candidates qualified for admission. And in NEET-UG 2021, 903782 female candidates registered, out of which 863093 appeared for the exam, and 494806 candidates qualified for admission.
