As per the NIRF medical ranking, the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS, New Delhi has been ranked the top medical college in the nation. While, Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh and Christian Medical College (CMC) Vellore has been ranked at second and third position, respectively. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Undergraduate - NEET UG

The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted NEET entrance exam for admission to 83,075 MBBS, 26,949 BDS, 52,720 AYUSH, 603 BVSc & AH seats. The admission to AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS seats will be done on the basis of NEET-UG scores.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG)

Candidates who wish to pursue Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and PG Diploma courses in medical colleges and hospitals. The National Board of Examinations (NBE) will conduct NEET PG 2021 exam on September 11 in online mode.

Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI CET)

AIIMS Delhi conducts INI CET January and July session for admission to around 872 MD, MS, MDS, Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) seats. INI CET 2022 January session will be conducted in the second week of November 2021.
