As per the latest NEET seats, data obtained from both the National Medical Commission (NMC) and the Dental Council of India (DCI), 91,927 MBBS seats, 26,949 BDS seats, 52,720 AYUSH seats, and 603 BVSc & AH seats are available, along with 1,899 AIIMS and 249 JIPMER seats in 612 medical and 315 dental colleges. NEET UG eligibility criteria 2023 must be followed before applicants fill out the application form. NEET 2023 eligibility criteria is as follows:
Minimum age requirement: Candidates must have completed 17 years by 31 December 2023 to appear for NEET 2023.
Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens, Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), or Foreign Nationals.
Educational qualifications: Students who have either passed or who are appearing in 10+2 or equivalent are eligible to apply for NEET-UG 2023.
Subjects studied: Aspirants interested in applying for NEET 2023 must have studied physics, chemistry, biology, and English at a recognized board.
Qualification exam marks: Candidates must score at least 50% in physics, chemistry, and biology in the qualifying examination. For candidates from SC, ST, and OBC-NCL categories, the minimum mark requirement is 40%.

NEET 2023 preparation tips
Taking Biology and one other subject at the same time is recommended. The strongest topics with the most weight should be studied first. This will allow you to cover more topics in a shorter period.
Take the time to read NCERT line by line. Make notes while marking important facts with a highlighter. Study extra study material in the form of books and preparation websites after completing NCERT. Note the references you find in these sources as well.
Learn every diagram by heart in the Biology so you can understand a topic better. Retaining information is more straightforward with pictures. NEET 2023 preparation relies heavily on diagrams.
Make sure you solve as many questions as possible in physics. Creating a spreadsheet with all the formulas and laws discussed in each chapter is also recommended.
The most effective way to learn chemistry is to memorise chemical equations and diagrams by heart. Make a sheet of chemical equations and formulas that can be used for solving questions after completing each chapter in chemistry.
NEET 2023 answer key
NTA will release the NEET 2023 official answer key a few days after the conclusion of the exam. Candidates can estimate their probable score in NEET 2023 using the NEET answer key released by NTA. To evaluate one's performance in the entrance test, a candidate should refer to the NEET 2023 answer key. There is a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 per question for candidates who want to challenge the questions.
The final answer key of NEET UG 2023 will be released a few hours before the announcement of the result. It is to be noted that the NTA NEET 2023 final answer key cannot be challenged by the candidate under any circumstances.
NEET result 2023
The NTA will announce the NEET results on neet.nta.nic.in in the scorecard form. NEET 2023 scorecard include candidates' details, qualifying and total marks, AIR, category, 15% All India Quota, and other information. Along with the result, the NTA also mentions the qualifying NEET cutoff scores for candidates of general, SC, ST, and OBC categories on the scorecard. NEET 2023 counselling
Based on NEET 2023 scores, MCC conducts NEET counselling for 15% All India Quotra (AIQ) seats in government colleges and 100% in deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS, AIIMS, and JIPMER. The counselling for the remaining 85% state quota seats will be held by the counselling authority of the respective states.
There will be four rounds to the NEET AIQ counselling process in 2023, namely, rounds 1, 2, mop up, and stray vacancies. As part of the NEET UG 2023 counselling session, eligible candidates must register, fill out their course choices, and pay the registration fee. Seats will be allocated based on the choices filled in by applicants, the NEET 2023 rank, and the availability of seats and reservations.
Each candidate, other than candidates from the Union Territory of J&K, who qualify as part of the All India Quota in 2023 will be eligible to participate in the NEET 2023 counselling. The seats left vacant after round 2 of NEET 2023 counselling in AIQ will be returned to the states.
