MBBS Reservation in AIIMS Delhi

A total of 132 MBBS seats including 7 seats for foreign nationals are offered for admission to MBBS course. AIIMS Delhi MBBS seats are filled through NEET counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The AIIMS Delhi MBBS counselling is conducted under All India Quota (AIQ) category. AIIMS Delhi NEET MBBS eligibility criteria

The AIIMS Delhi MBBS admission is offered through NEET UG score. Candidates who appear in the entrance test and score the required NEET cutoff can apply for the AIIMS admissions. The eligibility criteria required for NEET MBBS reservation in AIIMS Delhi are as follows.

  • Minimum age: A candidate should be 17 years as of December 31, 2025.

  • Qualifying examination: Aspirants should have passed Class 12 with physics, chemistry, biology, and English as subjects. Candidates who have passed 12th with Biology as an additional subject are also eligible. Only NEET UG qualified candidates are eligible.

  • Minimum marks: General and OBC category candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with 60% marks, SC/ST with 50% marks and PWBD candidates with 45% marks. Foreign candidates are required to have 60% marks in the qualifying examination to be eligible for AIIMS Delhi MBBS admission.

  • Reservation policy: 5% of the seats are reserved for the Person with Disability (PwD) candidates.

AIIMS Delhi MBBS reservation 2024

A total of 132 MBBS seats are offered at AIIMS Delhi, out of which, 55 seats for general category candidates, 7 for foreign nationals, 18 MBBS seats for SC, 9 for ST and 32 seats are reserved for OBC candidates.

AIIMS Delhi MBBS seats reserved for SC, ST candidates

The institute provides a total of 18 seats for SC candidates. For ST candidates, AIIMS Delhi provides 9 MBBS seats. AIIMS Delhi offers reservation to SC, ST candidates as per the rules of Government of India. However, candidates need to produce the category certificate in the prescribed format during the document verification.

AIIMS Delhi MBBS seats reserved for OBC candidates

A total of 32 MBBS seats are reserved for OBC candidates. The aspirants from OBC category must hold a valid certificate for AIIMS New Delhi MBBS admissions according to the rules laid down by the authorities. The candidates must not belong to the creamy layer reservation.

AIIMS Delhi provides 55 MBBS seats to open merit candidates. In addition, the institute also provides 7 MBBS seats to foreign nationals.
