The NTA releases the NEET UG 2025 registration dates. To register for NEET 2025, candidates need to follow five steps which include, registration, filling out the NEET application form 2025, uploading images, application fee payment, and application form printout.

Candidates securing the NEET cutoff will only be declared qualified in the exam.
NEET exam counselling date
The counselling for NEET 2025 will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at mcc.nic.in for MBBS admission in India. The first two rounds of counselling will be conducted for admission under 15% All India Quota (AIQ), deemed and central universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, ESIC, and AFMC. While a mop-up round of NEET counselling will be conducted excluding 15% AIQ seats. Additionally, NEET counselling dates for 85% state quota seats will be declared by the respective state authorities.
NEET exam timing
The timing of NEET exam is from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Aspirants must enter the examination hall until 1:30 PM. The NEET test booklet is distributed at 1:45 PM. The NEET 2025 will conclude at 5:00 PM. The NEET UG is conducted in pen and paper mode for 3 hours.

For NEET seat reservations, State OBC certificates are valid only for state quota seats in your respective state’s medical colleges. However, if you want to claim OBC reservation under the All India Quota (AIQ) 15% seats, you must have an OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate recognized by the Central Government. If your caste is listed in the Central OBC list, you should update your certificate to a Central OBC-NCL certificate to avail of AIQ reservations in government medical colleges across India.

For NEET 2025 counseling, the OBC-NCL certificate should generally be valid if issued within one year before the counseling date.
Since your certificate is issued on 9 February 2025, it will be valid for NEET 2025 counseling, as counseling happens later in the year (July-September).
However, always double-check the official NEET counseling notification for the exact certificate issuance date requirements to avoid any issues.
