AIIMS MBBS Result 2019 - All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the individual AIIMS MBBS scorecard 2019 on June 14. AIIMS result 2019 was declared on June 12, in online mode in the form of merit list of candidates who have qualified the entrance exam. The result of AIIMS MBBS has been released in the form of PDF showing merit list and individual scores which can be downloaded from the link provided below on this page. AIIMS MBBS 2019 Result has been announced in two separate merit lists segregated roll number wise and rank-wise. AIIMS result 2019 mentions the names of candidates, All India Rank (AIR), subject-wise and overall percentile scores in the entrance examination. As many as 11,380 students have qualified the AIIMS UG exam. Out of the total candidates, 7,352 are males, 4,027 are females and one third gender aspirant. The merit list does not include the name of all the candidates who have qualified the exam. Those candidates whose name appear on the merit list will be invited to participate in the mock round of counselling which is to be conducted on June 20, 2019. Percentile scores mentioned in AIIMS MBBS result 2019 are on the basis of normalization of the marks obtained in the exam which was held in two shifts. AIIMS MBBS was conducted on May 25 and 26, 2019. Candidates scoring the prescribed cutoff percentile are deemed as qualified in AIIMS MBBS 2019. Such candidates need to login and download their individual scorecard after the result of AIIMS MBBS 2019 is declared. The scorecard contains the marks of the candidate and will be required during counselling and admissions. AIIMS, New Delhi also announced the AIIMS MBBS 2019 cut off along with the result. The cutoff marks and percentile vary for different categories. all PWBD candidates have been given 5% relaxation in their respective category and their cut off percentile have been determined accordingly. AIIMS MBBS result 2019 has been released in the form of percentile scores derived on the basis of cut off marks set by the authorities. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of these percentile scores as follows:
Raw scores of candidate
Subject-wise percentiles (upto seven decimals)
Overall percentile (upto seven decimals)
The raw scores will be determined on the basis of marking scheme as mentioned in the exam pattern of AIIMS MBBS 2019. As per the marking scheme, 1 mark will be allotted for a correct answer, while 1/3 mark will be deducted for an incorrect response and 0 mark will be for unanswered questions.
Five percentile score of each candidate will be evaluated by using the formula mentioned below. In the formula, T, S1, S2, S3 and S4 can be considered as the raw scores secured by aspirants in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge.
In case the marks of two or more candidates will be equal, then the authority will follow the inter-se merit procedure to resolve the ties.
Percentile in Biology: Aspirants with higher percentile in biology will be given better rank in the merit list
Percentile in Chemistry: If the first tie-breaker fails, then the student with higher percentile scores in Chemistry will be given higher preference
Percentile in Physics: If above inter-se merit won’t work, then, higher percentile scores in Physics will be considered better rank in the merit list
Age: At last, the age of the candidates will be taken into consideration. The elder aspirants will be allotted better rank in the merit list
The next step after the result is AIIMS MBBS 2019 counselling which will be conducted in an online mode tentatively in July 2019. With the release of the merit list the authority has declared the list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the mock round of counselling scheduled to be conducted on June 20, 2019. The merit list includes those eligible candidates which are equivalent to four times the total number of seats available in all 15 AIIMS in each category Counselling will be held in three rounds where aspirants will be called on the basis of their merit rank. During counselling, candidates have to indicate their preferences of the AIIMS campus they wish to study in. Seat allotment will be on the basis of the AIIMS MBBS rank and seat availability. About 1207 MBBS seats will be offered in 15 AIIMS institutes located at New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Guntur, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Rishikesh, Kalyani, Rae Bareli, Gorakhpur, Bibinagar, Deogarh and Bathinda.
