AIIMS MBBS Result 2019 - AIIMS, New Delhi will announce AIIMS MBBS 2019 result on June 12. The result of AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be released in the form of merit list and individual scores. The authority will publish two separate merit list - roll number and rank-wise. AIIMS MBBS result 2019 will include the name of candidates, All India Rank (AIR), subject-wise and overall percentile scores secured in the entrance examination. The qualified candidates included in the result will eligible to download the individual score card of AIIMS MBBS, displaying name, overall and subject-wise scores, rank and qualifying status. 

Since, AIIMS MBBS will be conducted in two shifts per day, the normalisation procedure will be followed to prepare the result. The percentile scores will be derived on the basis of marks obtained in the exam. Only students securing the minimum AIIMS MBBS cut off 2019 percentage will be considered qualified in AIIMS MBBS 2019. The cut off percentage for general category is 50%, while for SC/ST and OBC it is 45% and 40%, respectively. The cut off marks corresponding to the percentage will be declared along with the AIIMS MBBS result 2019. Aspirants included in the result will be called to attend the counselling process. How to check AIIMS MBBS 2019 Result

The result of AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be declared in the form of roll number, rank-wise merit list and individual score cards. Only the qualified candidates who will secure the minimum qualifying percentage will be called for counselling procedure. The number of students included in the first AIIMS MBBS result will be equal to four times the number of category-wise seats available in all AIIMS institutes. AIIMS MBBS Result 2019 - Rank-wise

AIIMS, New Delhi will release the rank-wise merit list for the aspirants who meet the certain qualifying criteria. The names of candidates included in rank-wise AIIMS MBBS 2019 result will be in increasing order of their rank. The merit list displays the name, overall percentile, subject-wise percentile and AIIMS MBBS rank.

AIIMS MBBS 2019 Result - Roll Number-wise

Along with the rank-wise, the authority will also publish the roll number-wise AIIMS MBBS rank list. The cut off percentage and equivalent percentile marks secured by aspirants will be list in the merit list. The roll numbers of candidates will be mentioned in this merit list in increasing order of their ranks in AIIMS MBBS exam. AIIMS MBBS Cut off 2019 

AIIMS, New Delhi sets the minimum AIIMS MBBS 2019 cut off to be secured to qualify the entrance exam. It is important to secure the minimum qualifying percentage to be included in the merit list. The marks corresponding to the qualifying percentage will be declared along with the result. The qualification marks and merit percentile of AIIMS MBBS 2019 will vary for different categories. How AIIMS MBBS 2019 Result will be calculated?

AIIMS MBBS result 2019 to be released in the form of percentile scores, will be derived on the basis of cut off set by the authority. Based on this percentile scores, the merit list will be prepared. AIIMS, New Delhi will prepare the result on the basis of following:

  • Raw scores of candidate 

  • Percentage 

  • Subject-wise percentiles (upto seven decimals) 

  • Overall percentile (upto seven decimals)

The raw scores will be determined on the basis of marking scheme as mentioned in the exam pattern of AIIMS MBBS 2019. As per the marking scheme, 1 mark will be allotted for a correct answer, while 1/3 mark will be deducted for an incorrect response and 0 mark will be for unanswered questions. 

How percentile scores will be calculated?

Five percentile score of each candidate will be evaluated by using the formula mentioned below. In the formula, T, S1, S2, S3 and S4 can be considered as the raw scores secured by aspirants in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge.

AIIMS MBBS 2019 Merit List

The roll number-wise and rank-wise result of AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be available in the form of merit list. It will indicate the names of candidates, their overall percentile, subject-wise percentile scores and All India Rank. Only students included in the merit list will be called for counselling process. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of percentile scores secured. Aspirants called for counselling from the merit list will be four times than the number of seats available. 

Tie-Breaking method of AIIMS MBBS Merit List 2019

In case the marks of two or more candidates will be equal, then the authority will follow the inter-se merit procedure to resolve the ties.

  • Percentile in Biology: Aspirants with higher percentile in biology will be given better rank in the merit list

  • Percentile in Chemistry: If the first tie-breaker will not work, then student with higher percentile scores in Chemistry will be given higher preference

  • Percentile in Physics: If above inter-se merit won’t work, then, higher percentile scores in Physics will be considered better rank in the merit list

  • Age: At last, the age of the candidates will be taken into consideration. The elder aspirants will be allotted better rank in the merit list 

What after AIIMS MBBS Result 2019?

Only candidates included in AIIMS MBBS 2019 result will be called for the counselling procedure. Alike last year, AIIMS MBBS 2019 counselling is expected to be conducted in the online mode. The counselling will be held in three rounds. Aspirants will be called for the counselling on the basis of their merit rank. During the procedure of counselling of AIIMS MBBS 2019, candidates will be required to provide their preferences of courses and institutes. Based on these preferences, AIIMS MBBS rank and availability of seats, the admission will be granted. Through AIIMS MBBS counselling 2019, a total of 807 MBBS seats will be offered in 9 AIIMS institutes located at New Delhi, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Guntur, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur and Rishikesh.
