National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in pen and paper mode. The NEET exam contains Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology subjects. The NEET questions are designed to test the student's understanding of medical sciences, analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities and others.

The NEET exam question paper has four codes. Each set is divided into 6 sub-sets. However, each set contains the same questions in different order. As per the NEET 2025 exam pattern, a total of 180 MCQs are asked. Physics and Chemistry subjects in NEET will carry 45 questions each. Biology will have 90 questions. The NTA has changed NEET paper pattern 2025. As per the new NEET exam pattern, there will be a total of 180 questions from subjects namely - Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each subject follows a set of questions as per the curriculum. NEET Physics syllabus 2025 comprises theoretical concepts, numericals, derivations, formulas and others. The Chemistry subject covers chapters from physical, inorganic and organic chemistry. Biology includes topics such as human physiology, genetics and ecology.

As per the latest NEET exam pattern 2025, the NEET exam paper consists of a total of 180 NEET objective type questions. The total marks in NEET are 720. Physics and Chemistry subjects contains 45 questions each. Biology holds maximum weightage with 90 questions asked from Botany and Zoology sections. The exam is conducted with a time duration of 3 hours. Candidates are required to solve the NEET exam paper within the stipulated time.
