AIIMS MBBS 2017 - The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi has declared the AIIMS MBBS 2017 Result on June 15, delayed from the previous date of June 14. AIIMS New Delhi conducted the morning and forenoon sessions of AIIMS MBBS 2017 between 9 am and 12.30 pm and between 3 pm and 6.30 pm respectively on May 28 for admission to MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS institutions. The AIIMS MBBS 2017 was conducted as a Computer Based Test (CBT) for 3 hours & 30 minutes. Candidates had to appear for the online test as per slot allotted to them. The application process for AIIMS MBBS 2017 had begun from January 24, 2017 for the eligible candidates to register for the test. As a major addition from this year onwards, AIIMS has announced additional seven seats at AIIMS New Delhi, taking the total number of MBBS seats to 707 from 700. The seats are distributed across each of the 7 AIIMS situated at New Delhi, Bhopal, Patna, Jodhpur, Rishikesh, Raipur and Bhubaneswar.

AIIMS MBBS 2017 entrance exam is a computer based test so getting the answer key is not possible. Candidates who are looking for the answer key must note that the answer key will have no authentic source and there will be no way of ascertaining its validity. Generally coaching institutes only release the answer key for those exams whose question paper is available after the exam.
The examination authority has declared the result of AIIMS MBBS 2017 on June 15 (delayed from previous date of June 14). The result has been declared for only those candidates who have secured the qualifying percentile as prescribed by the examination authority. The AIIMS MBBS result 2017 has been declared rank wise as well as roll number wise. To check result candidates have to look for their All India Rank, roll number, category and percentiles secured in the result list.
AIIMS MBBS 2017 cut off score is the benchmark to select only deserving candidates for counselling procedure. As per the AIIMS MBBS 2017 qualifying criteria, the cut off for general category candidates is 50%, for OBC candidates it is 45% while for SC/ST candidates, it is 40%. The cut off is determined on the basis of percentile as the examination will be held in two shifts and a Normalization Procedure will be used to determining the qualifying criteria. In the event of the percentiles for the two shifts being dissimilar / unequal, the lower of the two will be the eligibility cut-off for that category for all candidates i.e. both shifts. Only the candidates who have cleared the below mentioned score in their category will be invited for the admissions at AIIMS.

AIIMS MBBS Merit List 2017
The merit list will be prepared by examination authority as per the candidate’s score in the entrance exam. AIIMS MBBS 2017 merit list will be prepared only the qualified candidates. As per the rank in the merit list candidates will be called for counselling for allotment 700 MBBS seats in any of the 7 AIIMS.
The counselling of AIIMS MBBS 2017 will be held for allocation of MBBS seats at AIIMS, New Delhi. The AIIMS MBBS counselling 2017 will be conducted in offline mode in which candidates have to attend the counselling in person as per the allotted date and time as per their rank. The total number of candidate to be called for counselling will be 4 times the seats available in each category.

The online application procedure of AIIMS MBBS 2017 started from January 24, 2017 and continued till February 23, 2017. It was to be noted that the application form could be submitted in online mode only and no any other mode of application was to be accepted.

The admit card of AIIMS MBBS 2017 was available from May 8, 2017. AIIMS MBBS 2017 admit card was available for only those candidates whose application forms were accepted. Candidates could download admit card by entering their application number and password. After downloading the admit card, candidates were advised to verify all the entries in the admit card such as name, address, exam roll number, photograph, signature, allotted exam centre, etc. Candidates were advised to preserve the AIIMS MBBS admit card 2017 till the completion of the admission process as it was required at the time of counselling and admission process for identity verification.

AIIMS MBBS Exam Day Guidelines
Candidates were advised to reach the designated exam centre one hour prior to the time as mentioned in the admit card because they had to go through security checks and biometric verification. Candidates could not carry any textual or digital materials except admit card to the examination hall otherwise they would be debarred from taking the examination.
Candidates had to carry their AIIMS MBBS 2017 admit card to the examination centre along with any of the id proof for validation their identity. The stationery materials for the rough work were also provided at the centre.
